Calls constantly.  No one on line when answered.  On the Do Not Call list and still receive these calls.  Want them to stop bothering us!

I do not know who this pest is or why they are calling.

Annoying call to my cell phone.  Answered but hung up when heard it was a recorded message.  ID showed as No Name.

I called back and received a machine message saying I have reached GSA and leave a message. Then a recording informs me there is no space left to leave a message.

I receive calls from this number at 9 a.m. every morning and 8 p.m. every evening (including weekends and holidays). I called the number back to complain and after FINALLY getting someone on the phone, they hung up on me. Usually after answering these calls, I receive a ton of telemarketing calls for several days after. It has to be a skip trace sort of deal. So much for being on the do not call list.

How can we make these people stop calling us? Can we sue? Do we have rights?

Voice Exchange (713-226-2555 and 866-473-1980) is a scammer represented by ILD Teleservices. ILD Teleservices is the 3rd party biller representing the scammer Voice Exchange. They call AT&T residences knowing that AT&T will allow them to bill for unauthorized charges all because the FCC requires that AT&T "open" their bills to 3rd party billers. They don't question the charges...they just allow it! What happens is that Voice Exchange calls residences. If a person answers, they'll hang up or keep them on the line as long as possible. A person answering or making noise gives them a "nods up" to charge onto your AT&T bill for services you didn't authorize like an 800 number ($12.95) or a website ($79.95). Most of us are too busy to see the charges so we end up paying. By the time we notice the charges, we contact AT&T who will only "suspend or put the charges under dispute". AT&T will then ask you to contact ILD Teleservices (800-433-4518) to get them to block further charges. ILD Teleservices will then provide you with a number to call Voice Exchange so that you can cancel the charges with them. Voice Exchange will claim that they have an email or phone call that approves the charges. They won't credit you. They'll stop charging. They'll wait a month and then calls start all over again! I wish I could get them to stop...maybe posting feedback such as this will get them to leave us alone!

Received the call at 10:42 AM on 5/23. It was a hang up, but very annoying.

Received call several times , no answer.  I wish it can be stopped.

I am up in the Dallas area and got the same call with the same 713, Houston-area number. I did not answer; they have called twice so far today and left no message.

Calls multiple times daily, then gives dead air time.

HANG up when you see 713-226-2555 or 772-664-4005 on your caller id. Simply by saying "yes" or "pressing any key on your keypad" will authorize these group of losers to charge on anyone of your bills - either phone, credit card, or cell phone. They don't care...all they need is a couple hundred people to do this and they'll end up making a cool $200 without lifting a finger! HANG UP, HANG UP, HANG UP! These folks are tied to ILD Teleservices 800-433-4518 who's the billing agent for Universal Voice Services 866-473-1980 who represent these scams.

Received a call from this number this morning. Caller ID said VOICE EXCHANGE. I answered to a recording offering supplemental medical insurance coverage. Press 1 to talk to operator, or press 9 to be removed. I just hung up and reported the number to the national and TX state Do Not Call agencies.

They call me from the number 713-226-2555. I typed it in on google and it pulled up a list of customer complaints, they are out of Houston Texas and it has something to do with accesing your personal information..such as credit cards and accounts. It is a scam and if you get this number..do not push any buttons on your phone. DO NOT answer for that number..and if you do by mistake do not follow any of the prompts that it will suggest. I always cross reference odd numbers now.

Yes, This is VERY annoying!  Same as all of you above, these people call EVERYDAY with the same results!  I have a sister overseas in the service who calls from a calling card when she can and I HAVE to answer when it's weird because you never know when it could be her!  ARRRRGGHH!  If you guys figure out how to make it stop easily, please post!

Calling me too. I called back, man' voice saying this is : GSA?

I'm in Plano [a Dallas suburb] and just received a hangup from this number. I'd guess it's a machine logging valid phone numbers, which answer, etc for marketing of some kind. Just an uneducated guess..

I am receiving the same calls... and the box is full when we tryed to call it back..

Ok, Lets go to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Justice of The Peace file a lawsuit in small claims court (before you do call the Texas SOS and find the correct name to sue them under) file an avidaffit of inability to pay costs sorry for misspellings.  You can file for FREE!  now go get them and sue the pants off of them.  They are breaking DNC rules under the law of parties.

Automated recording trying to sell me medical insurance.  Not a real person, no name provided, no company name provide, no company contact provide. The recording says, "Press 1" to be connected to an agent.  "Press 9" to be placed on a no-call list.  Sheesh!  I am already on both the Texas and National no-call list!!!!!

Have been getting calls from this number.  I do not answer calls from numbers I don't know.  Whoever it is, left no message on my answering machine.

WE HAVE BEEN GETTING LOTS OF CALLES FROM THIS NUMBER. NO ONE SPEAKS!
AND CALL IT BACK AND SOMETIMES GET A VOICE MESSAGE. NOT ALLWAYS.

I just remembered...not sure if it is connected but..earlier (and a couple of weeks ago) a "private" number showed up..I answered and it was the same man. He keeps asking about a dog I have for sale...I thought it was weird...

This may have something to do with the Houston Chronicle. I started receiving calls from this same number when I subscribed to the paper.
