These scammers are relentless. Trying to get money for an illegal product that they are delivering to your door. I just tell them to F off and that usually ends it.

Don't know who they are or why they call but I thank the other  call recipients for doing the legwork. I've tried to add their call to my phones' saved contacts so that I know that they've called and ot ignor and report it but there is no more room, each phone (3) has different saved contacts which equates to 150 saved numbers, 75% of them are scam/telemarketers/robo callers.

State Police !  I love it !  Wish I could do the same.  I have saved so many scammer telenumbers on my phone that I cannot add any more of them, my phones only hold 50 numbers and many are family, friends and customers.  Privately listed caller ID numbers cannot be divulged and celebs trying to contact me for service will not *82 and divulge their number. I live in the city and run a pet care service, yes, even celebs need pet service-I've worked for a Red Sox owner and a National anchorwoman (she's retired), radio personalities etc. Not being able to answer my phone has killed my business. The DNC registry is useless.

The thing about the Craig's list idea is that all these scammers will do is change their phone number and continue to call you.  I believe this group is located in S. Florida but is rerouted from a Mexican tele number. Look on the web for illegal pharmaceutical sites, eventually you'll find the culprits but beware,  there are  1000's of them and whatever you do, don't divulge any email in the form of reprimands or do not call  me, that will verifiy your information and in turn they will sell it to other's buying information.

I have a similar problem I need to answer my phone and because of these calls (all of them, not just this scammer) I am loosing business. I run a home based business and have two numbers, I cannot tell which one they've called unless they leave a voice mail which nowadays in the current business enviornment many prospective customers won't leave a message, they just move on to the competition and do business with those who answer their phones all day long.

hahhahaha ! This is a first for me- pill pushers identifying themselves as DEA.  It's so stupid it's funny; Obviously the DEA won't sell you drugs (unless you are undercover and they don't know it yet) and they won't come after you unless you are selling drugs for profit.   Maybe it's the Mexican cartels trying to sell to you thru local dealers in which case I hope they don't have your address.

I have been getting calls from this number since I got an iPhone over two years ago. Apparently I got "Mike Anderson's" old phone number, because the person who calls me always asks for Mike Anderson. I get calls from Colorado, Texas, New York, DC, Florida, Ohio - it's INSANE and it's very annoying. One time, the Los Angelas police actually called me looking for Mike Anderson. I am so, so tired of getting phone calls from this "pharmacy," which is what the person said when he answered the phone last time I called him back. I called him back because he called me 7 times today and after he told me he would take me off his calling list, he didn't hang up. He thought he had, though, and I heard him speaking in this foreign language and yelling/cussing at someone.

they have called a couple times now saying they are from some pharmacy and that my pills are ready to be shipped they just need my credit card number. I havent "ordered" any pills, and my local pharmacy does not offer this kind of stuff anyways. This last time I couldnt make out what name they said since there was alot of background noise from other people. This scam needs to be stopped they will get ahold of someone gulliable one of these days and take all their money.

It's a scam pharmacy. When I told them they had the wrong number, the guy asked me if I needed pain meds or Xanax! What a douche! I get these calls at least 10 times a month and have all but begged them to stop calling me! They want me to buy medication from them and I don't even take the stuff!! Great place for an addict....... :-(

They call several times a day- some Indian men telling me about drugs for sale. I tell them to stop calling, I hang up without saying anything and they just keep calling. This some kind of scam and needs to end.

I just called the numberand someone answered said his name was John and the company was "The Pharmacy" when I pressed for more information they hung up.
I called again and it said that the Magic Jack customer was not available so they are using that phone service.

I'm so sick of these calls.

I've been getting these calls for years.  It's extremely annoying.
I've been both nice and aggressive in trying to get my number removed..... No luck so far.

Here is what I'm trying now

Reposed from another chat board:

Yes, you can stop the calls!  I received one, sometimes up to three calls a day from Canadian Pharmacy using this and a dozen other numbers. for over 3 years until I finally fought back! Here's the secret: Their computer makes tens of thousands of calls a day, routed through different numbers all over the country, only connecting you to a salesperson when you say "hello".  At the first sign of negativity, they simply hang up. It costs them nothing! You will never get off the automated call list until you order something.

So DO IT! Be sure to ask lots of questions, change your mind several times, haggle on price. Then give them your address, email and credit card number (all fake!). The first time I kept the woman on the phone for 45 minutes. After she ran the fake card number (always use the correct first 2 digits), she desperately tried to call me 10 times a day for 3 days. Finally I answered and told her the credit card was canceled and gave her another. 3 more days of trying before she gave up. Then the daily calls started again in 3 months.

I repeated the process, this time saying I had no credit card and was in the middle of switching bank accounts. After an hour on the phone fielding my stupid repeat questions and placing a $200 order, he sent instructions (to a fake email) on how to pre-pay using Western Union. He called 10 times a day for a week to figure out why they hadn't gotten the money before it all stopped again. 3 months later, the daily calls began again. No biggie, I just had another hour of fun and expect them to soon give up on me again.

They make their money by selling to one of every 10,000 calls. It takes only a tiny percentage of fake orders to waste enough time for their entire marketing strategy to go bust. The salespeople get frustrated, make no commissions and quit. The company spends $1000 training another replacement. Their phone banks are stalled taking orders that only cost them money. Try it, its fun!

Put them out of business - REPOST THIS FOR EVERY NUMBER THEY USE

I'm so over these people. I decided to block my number and just keep calling the number like every 10 to 15 mins. One of the calls I asked him how he liked being called all day at work. So far he just hangs up or sits there saying nothing too. Thing is, it doesn't hurt me. He cant make any calls as long as he sits there. I just lay my phone down until he hangs up.

Ben, I am assuming that since your mailbox was not set up that you must have a new phone/number.

If this is the case, then unfortunately, the prior owner of your number was most likely called and harassed as well, may be the reason for the number change. I guess you will be getting more of these calls, they do not adhere to any DNC rules, nor do they remove your number, regardless of how many times you ask or turn down thier offer of illegal drug sales.

Good luck, hope you get the job.
