Our organization in California has received countless phone calls from (713) 271-8661, asking for our credit card number.  The phone number is linked to CreditOne Bank in Texas.  We don't have a card with that bank.  The caller always asks for our credit card number.  Obviously, we're not going to give a stranger such information, even if we had a credit card from that bank.

Our receptionist -- who had asked the caller several times if she could speak to the caller's manager or supervisor, only to be told there was no such person -- finally had enough of this today.  She passed the phone number to me (I am the CEO's assistant).  I called CreditOne, spoke to a very nice woman who could not find a record of phone number in her database (of course, because we are not a customer of theirs), and offered to pass along our phone number to her manager.

This is obviously an attempt to obtain credit card numbers from unsuspecting people.  I believe the caller is somehow putting CreditOne's phone number on their system so that it shows up on our caller ID.

Be wise:  DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THIS CALLER!

I am receiving calls from this number numerous times a day.  I have never had an account with this company, so I don't have any debt.

I work for a school and these people call everyday; numberous times!  Today they called at 8:04, 8:30 & 9:15.  I tell them the lady isn't here and I've already told the person that just called 30 minutes ago....they just say ok and hang up!  I am really getting annoyed at these "bill collectors" that call places of business and expect to actually talk to someone!  Seriously???

My 13 year old son keeps getting calls from this number.  I've called them and told them to stop harassing him.  He's not in any debt..nor are we.  I have never used Credit One. If they don't stop I'm contacting the attorney General here in New York.  A 13 year old boy should not be harassed by these people. I called them and the guy with his Texas accent actually got nasty with me..yeah like that would work...welcome to New York pal!

Have no Credit One accounts.  Don't know why they are calling.  Don't answer.  No message left.  If they want us, they can leave a message.

Calls several times daily and never leave message.  I don't have any overdue credit cards or loans.  Some blogs say this may be Credit One but never had an account with them.

Credit one just called me from this number twice in ten minutes. I don't even have a balance on their card.  They just keep hitting me with the monthly bill for their annual dues that they won't let you pay at one time without paying a huge fee!!  Report these guys to the FTC.  I did!!

These cretins called again as I was researching other 800#'s they reportedly use! That's twice today! 8:17am and 1:23pm. No message. Didn't they learn about the Sept 1 law about "no robo calls to cell phones"?

If this call was indeed Credit One then why are they harrassing me? I have no card or debt with them, never have and never will. These dimwits use various 800#'s and are now switching to a Houston TX phone number that is traced back to Foxmoor Stores?!? WTF????? They used to ring my home phone every day but now they've gotten hold of my cell # and are calling it! These creeps should die a slow and agonizing death...

THEY CALL ABOUT 8 TIMES A DAY. THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. I HAVE TRIED CALLING THEM TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION AND I'M TRANSFERRED ALL OVER THE PLACE. ONE PERSON TELLS ME ONE THING AND ANOTHER CALLS THE NEXT DAY SAYING THE PERSON I SPOKE TO BEFORE DOESN'T HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO HELP ME. I CAN'T WIN!  THEY DON'T LISTEN AND THEY DON'T CARE. I PAY THEM MONEY, THE SCREW ME OVER AND SEND ME ANOTHER BILL AND CHARGE ME FEES FOR OVER THE PHONE PAYMENTS WHEN I ANSWER. IT'S TERRIBLE.

I have an account with Credit One (which is my mistake) but it's current, there's no reason for them to still be badgering me. For crying out loud, it's the weekend! I wish I could get them to stop calling me. Or at least leave a message - I would dignify that with a callback to rectify the situation. These people are relentless. If you have an account with them, pay it off and get the hell out.
