Well, I have had 3 calls from this number and ID says 'Car Research'.  I have not purchased a car, nor have I had my car recently serviced.

I got a call from this number on my cell a few days after buying a Mazda in Georgia. Did not pick up. No message.

I live in Southern California and I just bought a car a few days ago.. They call but they don't leave a message so I guess the call isn't that important or I'd call back.

This is from a Company called  Consumer Automotive Report. Since I do not answer any call that is not in my contact list It goes to voice mail. I have no idea of what they want but I will block them.

Visited Allen Samuels Hyundai, Tyler, Texas.  Left dealership @ 7:00.  First call came in at 8:33.

I received a call from this number and the female caller gave what i'm assuming to be a fake name and said that she was from calling from Friendly Chevrolet.  She started her spill saying that she see's that i recently had my car serviced and and wanted to ask me about some additional promotions.  I then interrupted her and said, "I havent had my vehicle serviced".  She let out a slight laugh and then said, well ok did did you purchas a vehicle.  I said, Yes.  Then she asked what vehicle i have and i told her.  Then she asked what year.  So at that point i could smell a scam.  So i said, shouldnt you have all this information if you're calling from the dealership?  Then she said, well i see that you were looking to purchase a 2013 camaro.  How's the car working out for you.  I simplye siad, "Fine"...cuz at that point she was about to get hung up on and definitely wasnt getting any more information from me.  So then she said, ok...that's all we need for now.  THis is totally a scam with people fishing for information.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY of your info!

Same deal as above. Only thing that is odd, I gave a survey to be nice and they are still calling me!!

Thanx all. I too got on their list. I was shopping over the weekend. I was assured they don't sell my info.
Like I'm gonna buy that from a sales person.
If they call again I'll see if I can find out what dealership gave my number outand report them.

Wow, I just test drove a vehicle!  Got this call the next day.

A women asked for my name, I gave it to her then she hang up.

Do not call me again, I have not done business with your company, do not know who you are and do not want anymore calls. I have reported the number to the FCC and state attorney general's office.

I KEEP RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS UNKOWN SOURCE.  WE HAVE BEEN SHOPPING FOR NEW CARS, THAT'S THE ONLY WAY ANYONE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN MY NUMBER.

I bought a car today and wasn't even out of the dealership when they called me.  I didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer it.  No message was left.  I plan on letting the dealership know also.  Cerritos CA.  This is crazy.

Was looking for a van just this past weekend.  Per the folks input here it is a survey for new car purchase but I have not purchase one yet.

Have looked for a new car - ONCE! One dealer! And I have receievd MANY phone calls for the same survey!

your not talking to the people who are calling you on this site... we are all getting the same calls
your getting..
try calling the number back and seeing if it gives an option to push a button to be removed..
or
add it to your blocked calls list on your phone if it has that OPTION when you press OPTIONS..
or
save it .. name it any name.. like "autocaller" .. then RECORD silence. name it "silent ring" .. then assign the silent ring tone .. you just made it .. to the autocaller "contact" you saved.. and every time they call it will ring using the silence you assigned it.. they can still leave a voice mail that way.. but call will not bother you.

I am going to try to call it now.. as it is already on my blocked calls list.. but I will see if it lets me press an option to get off the list..it said the auto whatever list.. I HAVE NOT TRIED TO BUY A CAR.. I have NO money.. so I have NO IDEA how i got on this list.. I did opt for CAR INSURANCE QUOTES.. so they may have SOLD my phone number to these idiots.. anyway.. i left a message and asked them to remove my number from their auto caller.. told them I have NO money or interest in auto anything.. and to again please take my number OFF of your automated caller.. who knows if it will help.. I am leaving them on my phones "add to reject list" ..  :)

I've been getting a call from this same number3-5 times a day. They never leave a message. I tried to call back but amazingly all the voice mail boxes are full. I'm on the DNC list too. I just set it to reject on my cell phone. I did not buy any car. I did look at some cars online recently and asked one of the dealers a question.

Don't mind getting the call...every business is having surveys completed on their employees...they need to know what to make better or what a great job someone did...just wish the caller ID would have said "this is a survey for what you just bought!!" :-)

They called twice on my cell yesterday. I did not answer. Googled the number and this is what I got. Now I know not to answer. I wish these people would stop selling my name and phone number. I will not buy another care from the Toyota dealer on 249.

This is a company doing a customer satisfaction survey for car dealerships. Not really spam.  Just answer it and tell them you are not interested in participating.  Then I am sure they WILL stop calling you......and no, I do not work for them or a car dealer.

Same thing; car shopping in OK, didn't even test drive anything but salesman named "Catfish" at David Stanley in Norman, OK said he HAD to have my number or he wouldn't get credit for talking to me.  Stupid me gave him my number and now I'm getting calls from this number. Lesson learned.

Yup, gave my number to a car salesperson. Now they have called twice today.
