I just got two phone calls from these people tried to call it back and said the phone was not in service. The phone is listed as private.  UGGG.  They need to do somthing about this...  Why should I have to pay for telemarketers calling my cell phone.  Its got to be a scam.

I received a call from this number on 07/10/2007 at 5:40pm EST. But there was no response at the other side. I called back and got a recorded message saying the number is not in service.

I got the same call from both 646 and 713 #'s...I would contact the local news to investigate and bring it to the publics notice. Then call your local authorities to investigage. If still red tape try federal agencies

Received phone call from the number didn't answer and no message left. Googled number and this is what popped up. Glad I didn't waste my time to answer or call back after reading the comments.

Wow, looks like I'm not alone here. Just googled the number and it took me here. I too called it back and got the same message saying "Houston, this number is not in service." Weird...and kinda pointless on their part haha.

I missed the call, but when I called the number back I got that it was a number for Logix Communications Corporation BASED IN HOUSTON TEXAS and that the number was out of service.

What's really funny is me and 2 other co-workers got a call on our cell phones from this number all within 15 minutes of each other.  One of them even has a "pay as you go" phones that was only 2 days old.... What the heck is it and how can we stop it?  Anyone know?

I received a call from 1-713-275-8989, at 11:25 am. It was in spanish so I
don't what they were trying to tell me.  I would like to block further calls from that number.  Please let me know what I have to do.  Thanks

Just got a call from this number at 1216pm.  It was just silent when I said 'Hello' and they hung up.  googled the number and found this forum.  Oh well

I'm the one that's been calling your cell phones in the United States. I live in a poor village outside Saltio, Mexico and we are very much needing your help. Please don't hang up when I call you! Just get someone that understands spanish. They will explain it to you.

I got a call and when I answered, they hung up.  I tried calling back twice, and it said that the phone number was out of service.  Go figure.

Same thing happened: cell phone and when attempted to call back: "Houston,this number is not in service"...it probably is a telemarketer who obtained our cell numbers.

Wow, just got both the 7132758989 and 6469330000 both within 30 minutes of each other.

Answered since I was expecting a call from Houston.  Same as the others - Spanish recording with a bad connection - hung up.  Reported to DONOTCALL since I'm registered.

Just got the same call from 646-933-0000!

Time to get someone to shut them down.

I recieved a call from this number on my cell phone does it helpe if i say that I have verizon wireless? well anyways the called today at 2:15 PM but I didnt pick up in time I called the number back at 2:22 PM and had gotten the houston this phone number is not in servic message. The caller called back once again at 2:38 I picked up I do know spanish but was not paying much attention to what he was saying all i heard was that if I wanted something just to press one. I called again at 2:42 to see if the number would call back I will report back if it does

Received call from this number to my work cell number.  My Work cell number is on a "do not call" list.

I attempted to call this number back, but I received the same BS as everyone else is getting.  I have no idea how the caller obtained my number, but the call was unsolicited and is unappreciated.

I received a call at 11:58 from this number and got no response.

Saw that they called twice and I called back and got the message "Houston, This number is not in service, thank you". I didn't hear anything in spanish though like those mentioned

How do you report someone like that? I really hate it when those type of people call. Perhaps we can turn this into a presidential debate! I ask that Paul (GOP) get in here and explain what he'll do to amend this situation.
