Received a phone call from this number. The caller left no message.

This is the 5th time we have received a call from this number in 5 days. It is a recording asking us to refinance our home. It tells you to "press 1 if you are interested". Please make them stop. It is a recording that goes to voice mail if you let it ring. The UNSOLICITED PHONE NUMBER 1-832-235-8362 called interrupting me sleeping several times on these days this week, May 2011:

I received 5 calls this week (May 2011) which is from phone 832-235-8362 which is RECORDING asking me to "press 1 if I am interested in refinancing our home". I hope everyone reports it to the DO NOT CALL LIST, like I did. It took as long as filling out this form. And by the hundreds of complaints I saw when I googled in this phone number, seems not enough people are calling to complain.

My complaint to DO NOT CALL 05/16/2011:

I am getting phone calls EVERYDAY from 832-235-8362
The guy told me the name of the company is National Electric Concepts and they are not selling anything. duh.
I also receive same recording from Jon Swearington. So annoying

Am annoyed as they leave a message on my home phone every day !
Need to get hold of the person and put a stop to it.

These a***oles phone me constantly, sometimes twice a day.  Have tried to call back to ask/tell them to stop calling but of course "mailbox is full"

I'm on Do not call and have filed a complaint with FCC.

There must be someway to stop these phone calls!!! Surely we don't have to put up with this.  Bordering on harassment.

Bob, they are attempting to skirt the law, but they are liars because they clearly are attempting to sell you something.  Since it is a direct solicitation and you have not given them permission to you call you report them to the FCC anyway, let the guys upstairs work out how legal they are and sort them out.  We don't know how the law works, but I am pretty certain what they are doing is against the rules of DNC list.

A***oles have changed to 832-235-8362.  Call three times a day.  I've reported the first number to the FCC.  Will report the new one.

That is the problem, there are people who will take them up on their offer and get screwed.  The dumb-masses make it harder on all of us.

Well, it is 1:40 and they aren't here for their 1:00 appointment.  Damn, I was looking forward to it. :)

Just an FYI about getting rid of these phone calls.  The DNC list is only supposed to stop companies from calling and trying to sell you something.  It still allows lots of other types to call, such as non-profits, charities, pollsters, etc.  These people are skirting the law by calling under the guise that they are not trying to sell you something.  They are offering a free service.  Technically, they aren't using the phone to sell anything.  That is done by the person that shows up at your home for the "free energy audit".

This makes it difficult to get rid of them.  I haven't figured out how, either.  All I can say is, waste their time like they have wasted yours and annoy them like they have annoyed you.

This has been my exact experience.  Can't these calls be blocked?!!

Three calls today already from these swines!  No one in their right mind would take them up on their offer after that amount of pestering.  How do I report them?

I get these quite often also.  I am willing to bet when they get to your house for your "free energy evaluation", they will look around the house and then zero in on your electric hot water heater.  Then the "expert" will try to sell you a solar hot water heater for about $10-12K.  Then he will tell you about the all the great rebates the government will give you, and your final cost will be....only $8K.  Just sign away and all this will be yours.
The rebates are non-existent and a solar water heater could be installed by a local contractor for $2-3K without needing rebates.

This is how I handled these people.  First I had gone through the 'Do Not Call List" speech.  Didn't work.  So, I made an appointment, met the guy, and listened to his spiel.  This took about an hour.  Then I politely told him that I would think about it.  He left with not sale because, unbeknown to him was that I am an expert.  I am a career electrical engineer that works for a utility.  I also have vast knowledge in the construction area, so I know what it takes to install a solar water heater, and the cost.  His math didn't add up and I would not save 50% off my electric bill each month.  More like 5%.  

Anyways, that was some time ago and recently they started calling again.  I have another appointment tomorrow.  I haven't decided to tell him to #%@& off in person or when he calls me after I miss the appointment.  Mind you, I will tell him why.....because his company keeps calling me and wasting my time, so I am returning the favor.

If they continue calling, I will make another appointment.

THEY CALL DAY AND NIGHT AND YOU CAN NOT CALL BACK BECAUSE THEIR VOICEMAIL IS FULL.  THIS HAS TO BE A SCAM AND SOMEONE MUST KNOW A WAY TO STOP THEIR CALLS?

I have had the same daily calls from Jon Swearington.  I pressed 1, got a guy named Eli.  I got the same, I'm not trying to sell you anything, talked over me, told him it didn't care what he "was not selling"  and that I was tired of them calling everyday, tying up my home phone line that I also use for business...then I was introduced to Tone....Dial tone.  This is HARASSMENT! what do we do? PLEASE ADVISE. If I did this to any other person, I'd be thrown in jail.

I have recieved calls to my cell phone from USA Utility Experts and a co-worker gets them also.
We cannot stop them from calling so we are now setting up bogus addresses for appointments.
Google the addresses for your local crack neigborhood or the police station, get creative.

They call my home, my office, my work cell phone. They have hung up on me when they stop their script and refuse to give me a number to stop their calls. Anybody interested in a class action lawsuit?

Have also received numerous (unanswered) calls from Jon Swearington, 713 (Houston) number.  Googled him and if it's the same one, he's the Director of Broadcast Media at Lakewood Church in Houston.  Again, if it's the same Jon, does Joel approve? Doubt it. Think I'll call Lakewood tomorrow and ask if their Jon Swearington moonlights as a telephone solicitor. Perhaps they'll give him a raise.

"Energy Awareness Group"  "National Energy Awareness" It depends on who picks up the line when you press 1 (or was it 2??) They call my home number EVERY DAY! As soon as you mention anything they don't like they simply hang up on you. I've asked several times for them to stop calling (which is frequently the point where they hang up on me) and a few thimes they've given me the line about how the DNC list doesn't apply to them. I think they should read it...

I have contacted this company, The Energy Reduction Group, and verified all my numbers are on the National No Call list.  They say that list does not apply to them because of the service they provide.  I blocked a couple of number so they just call from a different one, they have about 1000 numbers.  Contacting AT&T tomorrow about abusive and harrassing calls.  They call my house 2 - 3 times a day.

Constant daily unwanted phone calls.

We receive a pre-recorded call from this number every day that starts with, "Attention all Texas Homeowner..." That is as far as I listen before hanging up.  I redialed the number several times to get our telephone number out of their system, but I always get a recorded message which tells me to leave a message,but guess what? The message box is full and I'm supposed to call back later. If anyone knows how to eliminate this caller, I would like to know.

I get these calls too.  "Not selling anything".   I asked them what's selling got to do with it...you're not supposed to be calling for any reason.  The do not call is not effective anymore.
