very rude bill collector from houston tx.  Don't listen to info you are giving them.  Worse than the flu.

scammers - real nice initially. corrupt bill collectors don't even have the right info. listed as Operations Division 713-300-7317 but told to call back on 877-753-3601 with a referal number, code, etc. "Please speak to Mr. Douche - he will be assisting you today. We are available 24 hours. Please leave a detailed message." How do I know what info they want, who they are, and what they are going to do with it? Dips!

These... "Operation Division" people call my home at all hours demanding to speak to my husband. When I ask, AS HIS WIFE, what they want with him, they flat out tell me, "It's none of your business." They call anywhere from 6am to well after 9pm. I've tried taking my phone off the hook, pressing the talk button and not saying anything, letting them say "Hello? Hello?" I even tried calling them on their legitimacy with the BBB.... or their lack thereof. They just keep calling and calling. I'm seriously considering using them as tools for my entertainment and amusement by turning their questions back on them and never giving a straight answer... not that I ever would to THEIR kind. When will the idiots learn? We're smarter than they think.

Telling you it's none of your business is probably a rude way to go about it, but they are prohibited by federal law from revealing details of a debt from anyone but the debtor.  They can't even allege that a debt exists, not even to a spouse, parent or child.  The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, among other privacy laws, permits them only to tell you that they need to speak with your husband and to try to obtain other contact information.  If they mention directly to you that they are attempting to collect a debt from your husband, then your husband can sue them for up to $1000 per infraction.

This number keeps calling my home and asking for Bree.  I tell them everytime they have a worng number.  They continue to call.  Today I asked what I need to do to make them stop calling and the person hung up the phone.

they are debt collectors and only leave messages 1 out of about 8 times.

Report them to FCC. I also turn the fax mode on when they call, if I am home to hit the button.

Unbelievable.  Got a message 9/22/10 from a Jeffrey 713-300-7317 whoe said to call 877-359-5526 x5218 and check this out...was looking for a person that my husband had dated 15 YEARS AGO prior to our marriage! Like how far back are these collection scums looking?  I don't feel bad for her since she was a "B", but if he had been a reference on a credit application with her then how the HELL did they find his phone number when it's not listed in his name and he's moved around?  It scares me to think these creditors will do ANYTHING to find you.  No way in hell did I call back, since they may be looking for more info and get my name...etc involved.  If he calls again I'll tell him to play with a porcupine!

they are debt collectors.  they will only be happy if you sign over your first borne child.
