Quit calling me!!!!!

I didn't get very far with the guy.  He wanted to know about a car that was totaled 3 years ago.  He then wanted to know what I purchased as a replacement and I told him he didn't need to know that.  He insisted he did and I insisted he did not.  He insisted again and I hung up.

I knew it was a telemarketing call because of the silence when I answered with my last name.

Guy claimed he was from the "Vehicle Processing Department"
When I asked "What is your company name" he said "um ...we are just the Vehicle Processing Department".
I said, "if you are in a department, it must be a department of something, right?"  He said "yea, I guess so"
(long pause)
I then asked if he was trying to sell me insurance.  He said "um, yea".
When I asked to speak to his boss, he hung up.

At least he pronounced my name correctly (Grin).

***SCAM***   This company is trying to sell you a "service" for your vehicle. It doesn't matter that you don't own the one they are calling about, they will try to get information about what you replaced it with. They are very rude & quite nasty on the phone. There is no extended warranty or service program, they are just wanting your personal info. Use caution folks!

It's a scam for an automotive warranty. Bi*** on the line wouldn't even listen to me when I told her I had sold the car. Fast talking scam artist. SHUT THEM DOWN.

The guy was very rude!  Taylor was his last name.  He was asking a lot of questions about a vehicle we no longer own.  I told him that and then he wanted to know how long ago we sold it and what we got as a replacement.  I told him that was really none of his business and that he was not going to sell me on an extended warranty so I wasn't interested.  He tried to tell me he wasn't selling anything, he was offering a service.  Hello?????  I told him bluntly to not call me anymore and he kept interrupting me to tell me I was making an assumption, he wasn't selling anything.  Let's just say I got a loud.  I'm so annoyed with these sarcastic telemarketers that call me and try to invade my privacy.

We keep getting calls from this number....it just says Houston, TX....they never leave a message and always get the same treatment....we pick up and hang up. We can play this game forever! Fools!

Auto Processing Department. Sounds like an extended car warranty scam.

Get at least 2 calls a week from 713-343-7274.  They always ask for Kenneth Robbins.  Tell them every time there is no Kenneth Robbins at my number and ask them to take my number off their list.  Still get calls.

I live 70 miles from Houston and I'm on the Texas no call list. I still get calls from this bunch of low life fools. Since the Attorney General in Texas is going to run for governor he should be put on the spot to stop these calls in Texas.

Greg Abbott pay attention. The no call list is a waste without you taking action even as Attorney General.

This person knew my husband's name and the year and make of a car I used to own.  She wanted to sell extended warranty

I got another call from them today.  This time I answered and a woman asked for me by name. I tried to get more information by saying, "she is not here - may I take a message."  Every time she asked another question, I would only say, "may I please take a message."   She would not give me any information - only saying she would call back tonight.

Texas Caller ID. Asked for me by name then hung up. Sounds to be a phishing scam.

It was woman I gave her unknow name. She said  she would call back later. I called the no. If press 2 your of the list.    Did know what they wanted. I don't buy. S*** over the phone. Pressing 2 will take you off list

I called 713.343.7274 at 10:30 pm cst on July 10; got msg that they were sorry that they missed me, and press"2" to end calls about "this matter".  FYI: "713" area code is inner city Houston, TX.

Keep getting calls from this number. Don't know who it is they never leave message. Want it to stop.

Rude people. Called wanting to go over information on getting an extended service plan on a vehicle. When I said we weren't interested, she said she'd call my husband later. Ya think??? What an idiot!

a young woman calls and states that she can help me and i asked her how she was going to help me... she then states that she's a prostitute and asks me for my address and credit card number... i hanged up on her and reported her phone number [ (512) 343-7274, Houston TX. ] and recording to the local police department.

The caller ID said "Texas Caller".  I answered but no one ever came on the line.

Didn't recognize the 'Texas Caller' or number on Caller ID, so did not answer. No message was left.

Called, left no message.

Called, left no message. Probably a spoofed number.

I leep getting calls from that number and 713-489-0193, ughh

I saw the number on caller id.  Said "Texas Number".  I didn't answer, but did a search online with White Pages and it came back as a landline owned by Donna Drummond.  ???  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
