News paper Houston Chronicle

It isn't JUST the Houston Chronical.  It is Hearst Media.....they own many large and small newspapers, and they will call you if you owe them money for subscriptions, adverts, etc....

This is a cell phone number.  When I pick up it asks for a specific person's name and if you are him please press 1  --or something like that.  So since I am not that person and don't know that person I don't press one.  Then the call does nothing.  It doesn't give other options.  So I hang up.

The caller is definitely the Houston Chronicle. In my case it was a call soliciting a donation for their school literacy program. FYI if you call the 713-362-7211 you get The Houston Chronicle customer service. Neither the person soliciting the donation nor customer service knew why the phone disconnected when I answered the call the first time or why it connected when their autodial called me back less than ten minutes later.

Very strong statement, but since I do NOT take the Chronicle, never have, never will, why would
they still bother calling.

I receive 2 to 3 calls a day from this number, at times when I am not available and they never leave a message
on my voice mail. Call backs are unanswered.

I continue to get phone calls from this number but they never leave a message.  I called back but there was no answer!

Receive calls that no one answers

I have paid a year in advance & find the frequent calls very disruptive & ridiculous.

This is the Houston Chronicle subscriptions department. They can't seem to keep their accounting straight. Second time I have had an issue with them.

They call me all the time. When I call back, I just get voicemail. I have never actually answered the call.

Call me once daily and always hang up.  It's Houston Chronicle.  I cancelled service and they keep sending me papers, so they must want me to pay for them.... sorry i cancelled... you're still providing... i win.

Got a call from this number yesterday and today around the same time, how do I stop these calls?

Received call twice now from this number.  The caller left no voicemail and I do not answer numbers that I do not recognize.

its the Houston Chronicle.. if you call the number back its says it. It may be a auto system that dials the numbers
