This guy is a scammer 100%.  After figuring his game out and agreeing on a payment and pick up date and time on my item, he sent his payment via a fake PayPal site's email.  After figuring it out (a little too late), I blocked his phone number with my carrier, to which he contacted me with 2 more phone numbers within the hour, trying to get my attention.  So yes, this guy is a scammer.  Report his number(s) to the FTC and the iC3 government sites and call your local police, especially if you gave him your address for pick up of your item.

There is no "courier" or "shipper."  It's the same scammer using a different email and probably a fake website.

This is a total scam.  Pay Pal picked it up from me.  I had a Donald Williams try and buy something from me and it is a phishing scam.  

Matt is attempting to buy my craigslist item through paypal then send courier to pick up etc.  Scam I,m sure.

"Matt" is trying to buy a van... pay through pay pal... have a courier pick it up.... blah blah blah.... SCAM!!

I was just contacted by this number as well, trying to purchase our item for sale on Craig's List just a few hours after I posted the item for sale. They wanted me to pay their "courier" service $450 through Western Union. They were even texting me. Thank you to everyone who has posted on this site because I knew this guy seemed suspicious but googled his number and this information appeared. I texted him and said "I know this is a scam do not contact me again. "

I had the same experience, I am in Florida and the number is from Houston, Did you report it or just ignore it?

Just got a suspicious text from this same number about an item on Craigslist. Still using the name Matt Bill, their English is so horrible its not hard to spot its a scam.

Yes I got the same thing. Frist day it was listed I recieved a text from a man calling hinslef Matt Bill. He told me that he is in the military and can not meet me in person yet wanted to give me a credit card or wire the money. Then he wanted to send a shipping agent to pick up. I ran a back gound check with the name and phone number and nothing came up. Go with your gut !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
