This number keeps popping up!!!Nobody talks most of the time, it is annoying to say the least!

An automated voicemail was left for ICI Paint customers offering a discount. I've never been a customer of ICI Paint.

HERE'S THE REAL SCOOP: Your Company purchased a toll free # from WhosCalling.com, or CallBright.com. They are blocking the Caller ID, and trunking all your inbound 800# calls thru this Houston TX #. (Would you like to purchase the Upgrade, so you'll see 'Who IS Calling'?). They ARE Real Callers, just consider whoever calls it to be on your website or phone book. END OF STORY! :-)
Mark 2011-06-06 20:55:10 Unknown
Seems that we are getting all our clients calls routed from this number. Is a recent issue. Is eliminating all our caller ID's of incoming callers.

Its a mystery shopper most likley from the 20 group.

This has to be a selected phone # that upper management and owners of companies can use to protect their idenity when they want to check up on things. I am pretty sure that i just answered a call from the owner of my company either that or Rich Little made the call for him.

The 713 number keeps calling (april23 09) over and over and over. When I pick up -->no answer. Its probably some people that really have nothing better to do... haha how pathetic. Ignore those calls. And by the way any posts encuraging you to answer the calls are probably from the people that are calling!!

Svan 2009-02-24 16:53:37 Unknown
Called me by my first name, said we have talked before, calls atleast 4 times a day for 2 months. When I asked him to stop he called me a "f****ng faggit" and hung up. I wish there was a way to use legal action against this.

"THIS" IS YOUR OWN COMPANY SPYING ON YOU!!! THEY WANT TO SEE HOW YOU "HANDLE" CUSTOMERS. THEY WILL EVEN SPEAK IN AN OBNOXIOUS, AND RUDE MANOR TO SEE HOW YOU "HANDLE" THIS TYPE OF CUSTOMER. THE WHOLE F****NG CONCEPT SUCKS A**!!! MOST POPULAR WITH AUTO DEALERSHIP "B.D.C" DEPARTMENT.

Same experience, rude customer, stated he wanted payments on an X3, I told him in the low 5's with only starts down, and told him that starts were 1000, he laughed and yelled "Are you kidding me", your competition is right down the road charging half that, I stated that wasnt the payment but the starts down.
The line was still connected but seemed to go dead.
Tried to call back the number, and of course it states it isnt an active number...

I posted previously, but I now have other ones to write about. For the last 2 days I have received calls from this number again, but now it is from people who said they applied for quick loans through a website and wanted to know why they were not going to get their money for two days. If only they wanted a new car...I have heard of Traver Technologies, but I did not think that they played games like this. I don't know about any of you out there, but I find this sort of thing highly annoying. Don't we have better things to do with our time than answer calls that are not pertaining to our business?
GHI 2008-12-01 21:04:50 Unknown
This is a number for the central exchange at the company (internet company) that your business buys it 888 or 877 phone number through. In most cases it shows on caller ID as unknown or unavailable - but for some reason, the 713 number comes through occassionally. It depends on what area or sector your customer is calling from. Definitely keep answering the calls. My salespeople stopped taking the calls because they did not recognize the number as local - I have no idea how many sales leads we lost from not answering those calls

Who's Calling Rep 2008-11-25 22:11:08 Unknown
Hey Everyone,
I am a rep for Who's Calling. That number is now going to show up on your caller ID for calls that come through our Toll Free Numbers - everything will work the same as always, our caller ID just changed.
Mrs. S. 2008-11-25 21:39:30 Unknown
Still think this is legit. Just had a call from one of our long time customers with this number on the caller id. It is a Who's Calling number but the number listed on Who's Calling was the true number he called from not this 713 one. Anyone talk to your Who's Calling rep yet?
call guy 2008-11-25 15:07:15 Unknown
The phone number is realted to a company that records incoming sales calls and reports to management THE CALLS ARE COMING FROM YOU BUSINESSES 800#
Who did it ? 2008-11-22 02:32:23 Unknown
did some looking into this # and if you look too you'll see there is some companys "SELLING" information about this # and for a fee will block your number from this number for around $39.95
Monica 2008-11-21 15:05:52 Unknown
Goodmorning all: We are an Acura dealership and we too use Whoscalling. My guess is Traver or some other training outfit is somehow tagging on to our phone lines and recording the calls in an effort to sell there training. I wouldn't be suprised if tapes of the calls ended up in the GM or owners hands int he very near future.
Auto Dealer Internet Mgr 2008-11-21 03:49:59 Unknown
I looked up Traver Technologies, very possibly Monica's on the right track. We auto dealerships may be mystery-shopped thru this generic inbound # that you can't call back. The customer even stated that they were in TX, (where Traver is located). I've been Mystery-shopped before, but not in this rude manner. My backup guess is WhosCalling routes calls thru this packet # we're all seeing on caller ID. I WILL call WhosCalling Friday AM to find out!
Auto Dealer Internet Mgr 2008-11-21 03:38:00 Unknown
Got a call tonite with this # as the Caller ID. I believe this RUDE 'customer' to be calling in on a toll free # we've posted on Internet ad site. We got the toll free # from WhosCalling.com Is there a link thru WhosCalling, maybe? Roger or Anyone else use WhosCalling for their toll free #'s? I will watch this site for a response, she was rude and confrontational. Never heard of Traver Technologies, but I will ping them for sure. Monica, any particular Brand of auto your BDC represents?
