Yes, same number (713-396-2433) wanting me to set up a Paypal account to purchase my truck but I'm in Missouri and he said he is in Orita Challange, IB. Not going to happen.

Here is how the "PayPal Scam" works:
Says they will buy the item and will pay extra to cover charges by his shipping agent.
Says he will PayPal the funds and instruct you to send the extra money via wire transfer or pre-paid card to the agent.
He then sends you a fake PayPal deposit notice email, spoofing the official PayPal notice, that says the money has been put into your account.
You, thinking PayPal has your money, go ahead with the wire/prepaid transfer to the shipping agent, who is really the scammer.
After that, you then find out there was no money transferred to PayPal and are out the money your wired.

This number has been texting me all morning. After I knocked of $3000 dollars of a $32000 truck he said he would just pay full price. I knew it was a scam then. Don't believe this guy!!! Craigslist con artist

Same phone number texting me today to buy my cargo trailer from Craigs List....had a bad feeling about the communications, glad I searched the phone number via google and found this info....I hate people who do this. Thanks for posting this info....SELLERS BEWARE!

I received multiple text messages from this number after I posted Craigslist ad for vehicle. Person sending the texts offered to pay full price if payment was sent through PayPal. Something just didn't seen right.

Text messages after posting a Craigslist ad. This person's grammar was not American English. Didn't ask questions about the item. Wanted to pay me an additional $1400 to pay for transportation costs for him.

Spammer. Responded to craigslist boat ad. DO NOT REPLY TO THEM. Report them to your cell carrier by forwarding the text message to 7726.

Advertised a post driver on Craigs list. Text messages from this number. My radar went off when I offered to dicker on the price and text came back saying they would pay full price. Chose not to respond to text.
