I was looking online for a personal loan.  My credit is not so hot.  I received TONS of calls from various "lenders" and thought this one may be legit.   I gave my personal info, did as I was asked even to go so far as get a pre-loaded card.  THEN they wanted me to guarantee the loan for $2200 and get another money pak to do so.  I then got really suspicious.  I called my bank, talked to an adviser and was told that I'm more than likely being scammed.  Dummy me, I take full responsibility.   I'm an intelligent woman.....just did a stupid thing.  Their website is www.unitedpersonalloans.com.    Thankfully, I have ID theft protection through my business....free as a part of my benefits.  

One important thing to remember if these people have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!

Received FOUR calls from these people today just hours apart with LONG messages on our voicemail that I couldn't even understand.  Would only ask for my husband and once I had them on long enough told them to remove us from their list.

THEY WERE VERY NASTY TELLING ME THAT THEY WERE THE  FBI THEY WERE GOING TO SEND TWO AGENTS TO MY HOME I AM DISABLED THEY CALLED MY PHONE TEN  TIMES BACK TO BACK EVERYDAY

I also applied on line for a small loan did not expect to get approved since hubby and I recently broke up any way I got a call that I had trouble understanding ~~accent~~ Caller id  said Unknown name  decided to check out the phone number THANKS EVERYONE  I'm not calling them back

I applied online for a loan to help fix my house. I paid them for information which they immediately took out of my checking account. They keep calling, wanting to know how much money I want but they want my bank account #. I asked them to transfer me to representative for the company in the USA. He said they didn't have one.  Of course I hung up. got stiffed for $15.00

This is a company, that calls themselves "United Personal Loan".  The provide people with personal loans, but you would need to put down a security deposit, before you get the money.
