CALL IT BACK WITH IN TWO MINUTES AND NOW ITS NOT A WORKING NUMBER

Supposedly a person in jail. Claimed to be an officer at first. Keeps calling back!

basically same as everyone else. same story. only i did accept collect call. damnit!

I had an inmate call my office number three or four times in a row as well as my parents house phone.  He claimed to be on officer Williams.  he then told me to *72 a phone number to have the collect charges removed since he had obviously "dialed the wrong number" (yeah right).  Anyway, I have been trying to find the main phone number for the Harris Co. Jail but I found this first.  Hopefully it will reach someone who can do something about it.

Recorded message from Harris County Jail asking me to accept reverse charge long distance telephone call.  Also asked to hit *72 or some other number.  THought it was scam and hung up immediately.

Has called me twice today..Payphone..I answered first time..collect call Harris Co.jail...said He was Sgt. Bryant or Bryan Jones  Badge #1309..asked for a family member of a Ms. McQueen..told him nope then he asked me to call his secretary and give her my number so it can be taken out of their system..Her name Ms. Phillips..I was to dial *721-281-445-0461 to do so. I never did. I pulled up the number he gave me on google and it was for a Geranica Farve...16811 City View Plaza, Houston Tx 77060.."Discount Pool" WTH?  my friend works for D.A.  asked her about it and she wasn't sure but to report it to my Sheriff's office. will do so tom.

Got a call saying it was a collect call from Travis County Jail. We disconnected. Must be some kind of scam.

Received a call from this number at 4:00 p.m. on 09/07/08.  Caller ID was "Pay Phone."  Hard to make out recording upon picking up, but heard Harris County Jail, info saying if call was accepted the charge would be $3.50, and the word "scam" in a rather lengthy, staticky message.  Hung up.

PAY PHONE..WHEN YOU PICK UP THE CHARGE YOUR LINE..WHAT UP WITH THIS...I DIDNT THINK THEY HAD PAY PHONES ANYMORE
