I've been receiving calls every 10 minutes from this number. also 713 - 507-0962, 9967, 0984, 0941, 0967, 9991, 0959, and 9957. When i answer it tells me I have a call from an inmate in Harris County Jail. I contacted the jail there. they gave me 2 number to use to block the jail from calling. When i called one of these numbers it told me no one had called from harris county jail. so, i contacted my phone company. They advised me this is a scam. DO NOT ANSWER IT! DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION! You can't block the number and harris county sherrif's office cant do anything about it.

I had this happen to me this morning. 713-507-9976. It says Pay phone, & the message tells me I have a call from the Harris County Jail. I was trying to figure out who I knew in Texas that might be in jail. I have enough drama in my life right now, I sure as hell don't need any more.   If anybody gets thsi call HANG UP!

Associated # that called me was 713-507-9857--Got a call from Mr. Robinson in Harris County jail.  Was told to hang up and immediately call *72-1-713-734-3352 (this # is issued to ARLISA OWENS at 4103 Barberry in Houston--kids answered the phone when I called from my cell) to take the charge off my bill, since I do not know this person.  The telephone company confirmed that it's a scam and if I had called that #, my phone # would have been forwarded and those folks could make long distance calls and bill them to my phone #.  If those folks in jail have the brains to think up this scam, then they have enough brains to get a job and quit costing the tax payers hard earned money to house their sorry butts in jail!!

CALL 888-815-9102 TO BLOCK ALL CALLS FROM HARRIS COUNTY JAIL

Received a call on 9/10/2009 from 713-507-0883 and on 9/11/2009 from 713-507-9967. The message stated the call was from an inmate at the Harris County Jail.
