Appears to be call from Harris County Jail trying *72 scam.  Not only a scam, but it arrives as a collect call and will cost $3-$4 just for accepting it.  Do not accept the call.  Hang up.

I just got a collect call from this number as well - Harris County Jail payphone.  Caller claimed to be a police officer, needing to give me information about someone in jail who used my name and wanted out on personal recognizance bond.  He repeated everything he said and spoke slowly.  I probably was on for 4-5 minutes before I got suspicious.  Never would tell me who needed me - and eventually tried to give me another number to call his sargeant to get that name for me.  I finally hung up about 2 minutes after I should have.  Obviously, in retrospect, a scam.

got a cell form harris county jail, answered the first call, and hung up after I was given a *727323294637 number to call back to talk to an officer to have the $3 charge removed.  Called the *72 number and no one answered it.  Read online later that this is a call forwarding feature that is used to forward called from your phone to the scammers... can cost you thousands.  do not answer.    (link to snopes.com report about it: http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/scams/forward.asp)
