They can not legally harass you especially since you are under 18. Call a local attorney and sue for harassment of a minor. Going forward note ALL calls, times and dates and do not erase them from your phone. Your attorney will want that.

Calling @ 6:18am is illegal, but then why do you care?  We have recording devices that isolate your tel#, .... didn't wake us since we've taken these procations, .....and find out when you called that's documented..... DUH!  Think we'll notify the NOBAMA government on you?  Of course!

Now here's another option....recycled numbers are common because of people relocating to different locations. It's posible that some of these people who are being called have a recycled number that a previous debtor had.

This outfit just does not give up.  A sleazy collection agency for Citi Bank and their multitude of charge cards, i.e. Home depot, Lowes, etc.  I just ignore or block their calls automatically.  Piss on them.

They have called me 4 times in a row, and no one is on the line.... sounds lika a fax or automated dialer. I don't owe Home Depot or anyone else. No idea why they are calling me or how they got this number.

Pro Cons SVCS keep calling and asking questions.  I am ill, and I don't like the worriation.  They are getting paid to do a job, and shouldn't expect the person that they are calling to do the job for them.  I don't know who they are and don't appreciate them calling me.

Debt collection agency trying to collect for Home Depot credit card.  I just logged their number into my call blocker and that takes care of them.

We did not pay a bill cause it is wrong and the billing is wrong. I am not paying to go to court to get it corrected. We will wait for them to take us to court...then it will be corrected. We have an Attorney. We have been advised to allow it to go full term. If they keep up their stupidity...we will collect more money from the next collection group.

By the way collection person...we are on collection company number 6 in two years.

I was visiting a relative when they called them, and I was boggled when they wanted the relative to take notes and give detailed messages, they even threatened to keep calling the relative until she told them how to contact me.

Call to one of my associates cell phones asking her to call about the company Office Depot account.  Cease and desist letter sent.

Whom ever this is they keep calling and wanting to know if a A. Johnson or A. J. Johnson or Al. J. Johnson lives here.
Repeatly I have told them that this is not that a Johnson residence!

Several times they said they would take this number off their list they lied and they call multiple times a day for the same unknown person.

Collection company for Citibank business accounts.

They have called me and said they are calling from the City Bank.
They also said that I have a business account with this bank (but I do not),
and insisted on this.

Caller says he wants my side of the story or a statement I must call me in his office I have get this matter taken care of.

I HAD THEM CALLING TELLING ME TO GIVE THEM MY SIDE OF THE STORY I SENT LETTERS TELLING THEM I COULD PAY THIS ANY MORE I TALKED TO THEM BEFORE THEY WOULD NOT WORK WITH ME AT THAT TIME MY CREDIT IS GONE. They did this to me. I have some major debt and talk to my collectors. I saw the weird area code expecting it to be for me however they asked for a mr. King. I told them that they had the wrong phone number and she said "why are you lying to me mr. King?" I explained again and told her not to call my number again. She said " ok mr. King I will be calling tomorrow" what a f****ng bi***! If this continues I will consider filing a harassment suit asap.

dude- if the nice debt collectors are not nice people, the rude ones are psycho stalkers. don't explain your predicament. block the numbers, add to reject list, etc. if they decide that you are really their target they get really nasty and will pursue the phone number to its source and start harassing you at home.  i too initially tried to explain my predicament (like you - a new cel number with baggage). shortly thereafter, one of the yahoos convinced a neighbor to deliver a note to call a number. innocently i called and it was one of these psychos accusing me of being someone i am not and threatening me with all sorts of material and fiscal harm.

tell your mother and tell your cel phone carrier and then call your State Attorney General's office and file a complaint.

apparently the phone number i got for my cel belongs to someone who is having trouble paying his bills because i keep getting call from this and other numbers.

this particular number belongs to a collection agency representing home depot commercial credit accounts.

i just blocked the number.

It's unlawful for a collection agency to call you at 6:00AM in the morning.  File a complaint with the Attorney General in your state if this happens again.
