calls and does not talk after answering machine picks up dirt bags

This numbers calls me almost every day, if I answer no one responds, they never leave a voicemail. It's really annoying. When I call back, it's busy. So I am never able to talk to anyone from this number and can't figure out how to get them to leave me alone.

They call twice a day trying to sell me a life alert or some such for seniors.
Can't seem to make them give up.

Answered and listened to a pre-recorded message.  I'm sure it's a senior scam.  Said seniors could receive free life-alerts, as recommended by the American Heart A**. and the American Diabetes A**, and as per the Senior Medical Advisory (what's that?  It doesn't exist).  Here's a link to an alert warning consumers about this scam.  The transcribed message is the same message I heard.

Continuous harrassing phone calls from this number.

Got home from the grocery store to a "missed call"...thumbed the list and found this number.  No message left.  Cretins.

Little do they know, they're harrassing a dead woman.  My poor sweetie died six and a half months ago, and still the damn hospital (SETON = SATAN) won't stop persecuting us.  We have no money.  Seton, if this is you, I hope you all die in a fire!

i kept saying hello until a live person picked up...i told them to hold on while i turned up my hearing aid, then they got my whistle.  haven't had a call since.

They have called 2 or 3 times a day, when I answer they hang up OR I get a recording.  I did call right back one time and told the guy that FINALLY answered that I was NOT interested to take me off this list...obviously he did not understand English, I am still getting bothered.  NOW when I call back it is a busy signal, such cowards!!!!

Caller is attempting to sell emergency medical services to seniors.  Caller got very rude and upset when I explained I was not a senior and my number is on the do not call list.  Caller hung up when I asked to speak to the complaint department.

I must have had a slightly different message because it only offered the press 1 for more information.  No option 5 was given.

I blocked this number before. Obviously this is just a fake number they registered. The phone number they call from is not the phone number on your caller ID. These scum bags scamming people. Don't waste your time to talk to them

How can we block them?

Unsolicited robo-call. "Important message for seniors" when I hung up my phone rang again immediately. Dead air. Hung up again. Phone rang back immediately. Same message was STILL playing "for seniors" - three calls. Overtook my line and refused to release it! When will someone do something about these criminals. Please file an FCC complaint online. This is the only way I have ever achieved any sort of result with any of the scam artists!

Get calls daily. I ignore but they keep coming.

The phone rang this morning and since I didn't recognize the number, I let it go to voice mail.  This is my standard practice.  The do-not-call list is a joke because most numbers are spoofed.  I can only block 10 numbers and that block list is full.  Am considering buying a blocking device for about $100 which will be money well spent.  Keep the faith!

At 5:06 Pm central time i received another call from 713-568-9215. I played along with the call and a young lady answered. The unsuspecting operator identified herself as an employee of State Emergency Senior Care located in Providence , Virginia and that they are calling from a legitimate phone number of 713-568-9215 and that the phone is current and active. She sounded young and inexperienced at her job and freely answered questions for me. .... then someone hung up on me as well as the unsuspecting young telemarketer in the middle of her conversation.

Senior Medical Advisory telemarketing call for "medical alert equipment," in violation of the NDNCR. No caller ID.

Their message apparently started during the outgoing message, so the first few seconds were cut off:
"?death and serious life-threatening injuries, from a delay in response times for medical emergencies, fires, burglaries, or even a simple fall. The American Heart Association and the American Diabetic Association are urging all senior citizens to get a personal life saving emergency medical alert system for their home. For the first time, the Senior Medical Advisory is providing senior citizens with this life saving emergency medical alert equipment at no charge to seniors. Press 1 now, to find out how with just one push of a button, you can have a live certified emergency medical technician on the line, to help you in just seconds. Again, press 1 now, and you'll never have to feel helpless, worried, or by yourself in an emergency situation. Press 5 now, to be removed from our senior?"  (Picked up and pressed 5, so message was cut off prematurely.)

I seriously doubt The American Heart Association and the American Diabetic Association are in any way associated with this.

This was my first call from them, and I managed to pick up and press 5, so we'll see if that actually worked or not. If it comes in again, I'll block it, but I have also filed an NDNCR complaint here: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

For the life of me, I don't understand why you people answer these calls.  As soon as you answer, these people know that they have a "live one".  If you don't answer they don't know if they have dialed a valid number or not, and they have to keep it in the system and the system then has to work harder.  STOP answering the calls.  My wife & I just ignore them.

They call me every day.  They want to sell senior citizens some kind of medical device.  I listened one day and pushed the button to talk to them.  I told her to take me off the list.  She said she would. I'm still getting calls!
