Dear All, I received a frantic call today from this very 713 number and I told the male on the other end that what ever he wants to discuss with me he should first sent it in writing and the male got very offended and went on to state that this is not how they do business so then I said, well I cannot continue this conversation further and I hung up the phone.
And then I google searched the number and this huge Blessing post came up.
Thanks all.

If you "let them sue you" and contest the law suit saying you did not charge these items and demand to see YOUR signature or any proof there of where you sigend for any charges 99%+ credit cards do not have any records beyond the point when the account was charged off and assigned to an outside collection agency or attorney, to prove WHO actually signed and Charged items. In other words it will be dismissed. YOU WILL WIN in most court rooms.

Just got a phone call from Matt Hasseldon with Brachfeld Law.  He wanted immediate payment for a hospital bill that had already been paid.  He additionally said his law firm had sent me repeated letters regarding this bill, which they had not.  I did not give him any information, but asked my husband about the bill (he is a physician at the hospital), and it had been paid MONTHS ago.

Here's another example of a greedy, self-centered, pushy bunch of people who "happen to be jewish". Why is it that pointing out that obvious point is considered racist, when THEY are the ones making those stereotypes carry on?
They are from the same school as Goldman-Sachs and Bernie Madoff, and need to be put in jail. They are breaking the law and suffering no consequences. Threatening senior citizens should be a hate crime, too........

i was on with another call when i saw this number flash across my scvreen.  i didn't recognize it, so i wasn't about to switch over firuing they'd leave a voice mail, but they did not.  So i entered the number that appeared on the caller Id - 713 579 7000 - and was taken to this page.  so i called, and i was greeted with a "Bratchfield & Associates", suggesting a law firm.  so i pressed 0 and said "i have never heard of you, i do not do business with anyone that has your name, i think you are dialing a wrong number".  so she transfers me to someone that answers, "law office".  does not identify the name of the so-called law office.  but you can hear a LOT of people talking in the background.  Most law officies i have been in in my life (my mother worked at a firm for over 30 years before retiring) are relatively quiet.  this sounded like a calling floor of a telemarketer, certainly NOT a legitimate 'law firm'.  i gave this t**t my number, and she didn't see my number in their database and thought it was 'dialen in error'.  really?   i thought these were all automated, how could someone 'fat thumb' it?  very annoying.  i'm current on all my bills, and these appear to be bill collectors.  how great is that?  i get a 'new' phone number and the company merely recyled one that the previous peopl had issues or something?  wonderful.  i asked them (nicely this time) to stop calling me - we'll see.

I received a call ref an old account from 2003 however, when i asked questions about how they attained my phone number the caller got aggrevated and starting telling me how this was affecting my credit, i asked him to send me the "offer" in writing. He then accused me of trying to use a stall tactic???? Like the other person said i heard a lot of chatter in the office. Oh this is the best part i offered a lower settlement amount and he "emailed" the creditor and got what seemed to be an instant reply to accept???? So i hung up on him it was very unsettling. I just don't understand how they had my old address but my new number.  why i hadn't received any letters or previous phone calls. something is not right.

I have been dealing with these calls and letters on and off for a couple years.  I have sent certified letters they say they don't have.  When you try to have an intellegent conversation with the caller they get very angry loose thief cool start accusing you of stalling and get downright rude.  They have actually hung up on me in anger and I never raised my voice.  They won't provide proof the debt is yours when you ask on writing or verbally, they rely on you admitting it's yours.  Best to ignore, they start off talking like a reasonable person and they quickly turn on you like pit bull!

I rec'd a call from this number, I let it go to voice mail. The voice of the man who left a message also said he was from a law office. He didnt sound professional, it sounded scrippted, as if it was the first time he had to read his script. Repeating: It was in my best interest to call them back. Whatever, they can pound sand as far as I am concerned.

I also received a call from Meridian Managemant Services on May 24, 2010 at exactly 4:30 PM.
Using the White Pages, I found the following names listed for this phone number.

Ralph Ayala
Erica L. Brockfield
Meridian Management Solutions
800 W. Sam Houston Parkway South
Houston, TX 77042-1908

This company is also known as Brachfield & Associates.  Note the spelling variation of Brockfield.
Most likely, this is not a real law firm or collection agency, but a scam operation that collects
expired or zombie debt from unsuspecting individuals.   They are simply acting for
themselves, and are not acting for a client company, or actually purchased any
debt from a company.

Debt expired past the statute of limitations in your state is not collectible,
unless you, the debtor, made a representation to the creditor or collection agency,
that you still consider your self responsible for such debt.

Do not send these people any money or agree to pay,
without first consulting someone qualified
to advise you in such a matter.

My problem is slightly different from the others who posted comments here.

My extended Silver family is an organized crime family, associated with the Church of Scientology, and
a detective agency known as Derish Associates.    They have been harassing me continuously for five years, as of this date.  This harassment was much less frequent in 2009, but I am now receiving nuisance calls like this on a daily basis since May 17, 2010.  My cell phone number was recently changed on May 5, 2010.

The goal of their harassment of me is to push me to suicide, but will never succeed,
and can never succeed.  These tactics are typical of Scientologists, who harass individuals for the purpose of destroying or silencing them.  Harassment from Scientologists can persist for many years.
It is not entirely clear why my family, relatives and Derish Associates want me eliminated.

In addition, many Scientologists often live criminal lifestyles, and engage in financial scamming.
I would presume that our actors who are Scientologists, don't do this, since they likely
have enough income already.

Seth D. Derish and Seth Derish, Jr. are both now serving time in California for murder charges.
Like my sisters and relatives, they engage in various types of fraud and drug trafficking, and
the Derish Associates also accept and execute murder contracts.

Don't attempt to deal with these people yourself, without first consulting
your local police department.  Feel free to use the information I posted
as you wish.  I am NOT a licensed or trained private investigator.
