called last night...rang 27 times before it quit.  if its unavaible we don't answer the phone

Auto dialer and no message left.  Annoying, do not answer, because they save your number to pass around.

This number belongs to a scam service, stating they are a "settlement debt collection firm", offering settlements on accounts previously sent to collection.  They have no contract with any debt collection company.  They are not providing you with a service or clearing your debts off your record.  They are attempting to profit off of a prior debt posted.  The debt may or may not be yours.  In my case the debt was seven years old and was not even mine.  The debt belonged to a company I have never done business with before.

Have been recieving phone calls from this number. No automated recording, but actual human voice. However, they are asking for me by Ali (maiden name). I have been married now for over 8 years and if they did their homework right, they would know this and would refer to me by the correct name. I do have two unpaid credit cards but I can never figure out which "debt collector" they are since they don't leave any other info and their number is not searchable via yellowpages.com

I received a call from a guy named "Jacob" (can't remember the last name).  This guy is nuts.  At first he was very polite and was telling me about an old account from 2003 maybe 2002, right?...phone bill.
He then stated that he could do a settlement of $300.00 and how much could I pay a month for a payment plan.  Well I said $25.00.  Then the "ish" hit the fan with him then his entire tone changed.  He said that it wouldn't be enough to cover the interest then I said, oh well.  Then the freak started to recite the amount of my car loan and current phone bill and had the nerve to ask how am I making those payments.  "that's when the stupid look appeared on my face".  He then started to get real ugly and rude.  He said that he'll contact my job and have me forced to pay the amount.  Whatever!  
These people are crazy.  Hell if I didn't pay it in 2003 then why would i pay it in 2010?  Either way, it'll get paid.  
When I told him that it's an old account, that's when he got mad and started making those threats like he was loosing his darn mind.  Then I gave him the "red button"/hung up on his a***.

Keeps calling asking for my manager (Denay) or her husband. He calls me Denay and says I'm hiding behind the phone, says I'm lying, and calls about every 2 weeks! I work for Denay and have a company cell phone, and neither Denay or I know how he got this #. The harrassment has to stop!

Very hateful man calls and tells my granddaughter she is a liar if she answers the phone and tells him I am not there. He has now called my job telling my supervisor he wants to do an employment verification. Luckily my boss is a good guy and won't tell him anything except..yep she works here.
They did a special on these payday loan companies on Dateline. I am sure that's who this guy is. Thing is, I paid baclk ALL I borrowed from them plus their 794% interest, and they now say I owe them $1200! WOW what balls of steel they have. Guess the guy can't find a real job so he can sit on his fat rear end and make calls from his sweat-shop harrassing people all day.
