Caller said she was with AT&T and noticed that we weren't theirs and wanted to know how many lines there were so that we can see about getting you back with AT&T.  They're slammers working for AT&T.  Shame on you AT&T!

Claiming to be from Verizon asking how many lines we have and how can they get us a better rate.

Called claiming to be from Verizon sales trying to get us the best possible rate.  She said she will call back in 2 to 3 minutes why the "verizon" system pulls up my information.  I said find and googled the number found a ton of hits.  Don't believe them.

Received call at our office from this number.  Woman with very heavy accent.  Claimed to be Verizon ... wanted to make sure we were receiving the best deal on our land line phone.

She didn't like it when I explained that we had placed a freeze on our account with Verizon so no one (AKA = scammers / phishers) could change our service from Verizon.  

Told her if we wanted to change anything with our service, we would contact Verizon directly.

I've been getting a call from someone that says they are verizon.  The number is 1-866-470-2277.  This is a scam!!

Got a call from the same number 713 600 2500.  No answer on the other end.  After several hellos I hung up

got a call from Odessa (caller id shoes this tel # 713-600-2500) saying she is calling from Verizon (NY) and looking to save me $ and my contract is due for upgrade or needs to be renewed..blah blah. i asked if she is a reseller and she said no. so i asked how am i to know she is from verizon so she gave me this # to call which i did not 866-470-2277

False claims galore...

They are a reseller operation only.

My office line receives a call from this number about twice a day.  Is there any way to block this number?

Caller said they were calling from Verizon - I'm in New York state.  However, they had my business name wrong, as well as the address of the business.  After questioning her as to why Verizon didn't have my correct information (I have three phone lines!!) - she corrected herself and stated she was calling on behalf of Verizon to see if she could save my business money - I told her not to call back & if Verizon really wanted to save me money, perhaps they should contact me themselves.

I heard that others had received calls from this number, so when I saw it on my display, I recognized it, and was ready to respond!  

The guy identified himself as being with AT&T initially and wanted to know who he 'could talk to about our telephone service.'  I told him NO ONE was available, and that I was not going to talk to him either because I knew his telephone number had been flagged as a SCAM/PFISHING number.  He immediately denied what I had said; so, I said it again, then told him I was going to report it online so others would be aware.  AFter that, I hung up.  He did not call back!!

Got a call from this number on 02/11/2008 @ 08:22am, an african american male voice claimed on behalf of AT&T, about my business tel line..., bluh... bluh.... bluh.....,

A girl called me from this number claiming herself AT&T ON 12/05/2007, 1:40PM, saying that she can help me save 20% on my tel bill, liar, stay away from those liars.

I got a call from this number on 10/24/2007 @ 1:07pm, caller claimed to be AT&T, and she said she was helping me with my phone plans...,
