If these outfits who call you out of the blue were as good as you seem to think, they wouldn't have to call companies begging for business.  If they were any good, their phone would be ringing off the hook.  That goes for ALL of these "businesses" that are take up real businesses time harrassing them with unwanted phone calls.  I have these loser outfit calling my company every day and I am fed up with wasting time that should be spent on my customers dealing with LOSERS.

these guys got me paid fast they are collections and just like any business in order to make money they have to contact people. I am sure you own a phone for your business right......I thought so. Stop being so negative and give them an honest chance and I bet they get you paid like they did me

Hey man, take it easy there... they want to collect unpaid debts that are over 18-months. They weren't trying to collect they're trying to get jobs collecting for businesses. Jeeez

i would not have tried to get cancellation fee had you not tried to be deceptive and take payments behind our back and you did sign a placement form, you are just a deadbeat that is as bad as the debtor you tried to beat us out of the money we got them to pay.

I am our credit and collections manager.  For the past week I received x2 messages per day from Angela Harris of Simmons & Harris at 713.600.9900 x117.  Ms. Harris needs to catch a clue.  If I haven't called back by now I'm not ever going to.  All our collections are in-house with a 97% success rate.  Why would I need these people?  LOL

got a robo call from this number saying I had written a bad check (no way) telling me to call them back with a file number they spoke so fast I could not even follow the entire message

Received message from Angela Harris who was asking for AR Dept, Controller or Credit Mgr. states they are representing Simmons & Adams 713-600-9900 ext. 117

I received a voicemail from Benny- not sure if he is the same Benny (message board) saying how great Simmons & Adam are, but thanks for the heads up on the scam.

received voice mail message from Angela Harris at this number and extension.  No details on the message outside of her needing me to call her back immediately.  My asst. credit manager had spoken with her and was led to believe they are a collections firm.  Not returning her call.

They called daily to our switchboard line and left a non-descrip msg each time. Their collection agency looking for pmt or trying to sell their service. Ignore them all.

got the same message from Angela, same extension. Funny how so many people there have the extension 117. They must all be huddled together in a cubicle sharing the same phone.

Received a call from Angela Harris at Simons and Adams 713-600-9900 ext 117. Left a message for Ms. Tina and stated she would appreciate a call back. She did not leave any details in her message as to what the call was regarding, left a return message back at about 10;36 am on 7/27/11

Grace Mason called and left message from this number, no extension or file number. I do not have caller ID.  Regard to debt from over 18 months ago.

Ed Graham (not sure about last name) left message regarding he represents legal firm of Simons and Adams. Told me to call 713-600-9930 x116.

Bob Corey from Simons and Adams left a message about outstanding invoices. I'm not familiar with this outfit. Upon trying to call back, I received an automatic attendant identifying themselves as only the General Message Center, nothing else about Simons and Adams. I din't leave a message. Is this some sort of scam or what?

They are a Collection Attorney .... they have been calling trying to get me to use them to collect on outstanding accounts for my company.

Had voicemail from a female giving name as "Kelly Brock"; called back and they said she was "busy" but asked for our address.  Hung up.

Received a 'stern' voicemail from a Victor from this company saying I "needed" to contact him back. I will let these guys know on this site, I've worked for legal firms doing collections and this is one of my responsibilities for my company, and these guys better be ready for some serious litigation against them for making such calls in the state of CA. The laws here are very stringent and just because they hide in the state of TX does not mean they are immune to reprisals. I have already notified our state's AG as well as theirs and found out they have a long history of violating the FDCPA and FCRA with both commercial and consumer debt. Be forwarned Simmons & Adams, you have been put on notice.

these guys are good at what they do. Yes they are collections, but they got me paid in five days. I thought Frank was full of crap when he said he would get me paid by the end of the month. I was wrong. If you need to get paid i suggest you call frank and have him do the same for you.

Received a call from a Joel Mitchell 713-600-9930x117 stating he was with Simons and Adams and wanting to speak to our AR Dept.  He would not clearly state the nature of the call (which is a clear indication it is not legitimate) I called the number back and informed the company to remove our business name and number from their directory/calling list.  Should we receive any further calls from this number they will be promptly reported to the authorities.  This is a scam/solicitation.
