I got the same problem too.
I think they use the internet phone.
I am also on the do not call list these INDIAN keeping calling. I wish there is a way to stop their call

Received a call ; no answer

These guys called and casually asked for my husband as if he were a friend.  When I said he wasn't available and asked whom was calling, the guy stumbled and asked for my husband again.  Made no sense.  When I asked again whom I was speaking to, the guy hung up.  

These calls drive me nuts!

Have been contacted several times from this company even after requesting them to remove me from there calling list. Also have informed them that my number is on the no call list. Reported them to the attorney generals office.

Also just got "that" call...........he called the other day, hung up when I asked who was calling, and could I help him. He just gave me the same stuff, and attitude.  He said he was from First Financial, and someone had passed the name to him, and he was backed by Govt, I could sit back and check his company out on the web..........and I asked  was this imformation about a scam? He flew off the handle and said"why would I say anything about a scam?" I said "I don't know, why would you?", and hung up on him........ It shows up as Unknown Caller...I too am on the Do Not Call List........

These jerks have called several times and left no message.  When I attempted to call back, I got dead air.  Good to know what they're all about -- blocking them now.

We've been bombarded with debt consolidation junk mail recently, including a "catalog" of debt consolidation plans.  That was followed up with a letter saying something to the effect of "You didn't respond to the catalog we sent you."  Jeez, it gets old!

I just got a call as well. They claim to be working on a debt consolidation government-backed program and did business under the name Xccelerated. First Financial does not have any debt consolidation program and does not do business under that name or any similar name.

713/633-5291 keeps calling but when we answer there is no one there.  Call the number back and shows to be disconnected.

Just got a phone call from First Financial a few minutes ago. He pronounced the name of my dad. Then when I said he is not available and I'll take a message, he asked if I was his wife and then pronounced her last name. I see our UNLISTED phone number is no longer private for whatever reason. I'm going to block that phone number!

Ditto...when I told the rep I wasn't interested, especially with the number of scams being reported daily he got belligerent and proceeded to tell me that he didn't like people like me...I politely ended the call with a click

Just called me as well.  Same thing as DB stated "from First Financial, got info that i was looking to lower payments/debt."  I asked how they specifically got this information on me and she said "we work with credit bureaus, etc, etc"  I told her I wasn't interested and to please remove me from their call list and she hung up before even I even finished. I'm sure they'll call again even though we're on the DNC list (and have been for years.).  They've prob called 10 times over the past month but I never answered it before - I felt like telling them to shove it today, so I answered.

I just received a call from this number also. The 'solicitor" from First Financial was very unorganized, didn't even have my last name. They were trying to sell me debt consolidation. They said they received information from the credit bureaus that i was looking for a government backed debt consolidation plan. I told him he received incorrect information, and I started firing questions back at him, he got flustered. I told him to "pound sand." He then hung up on me. Don't waste your time.

Received a call from this number. When I answered, the line went dead. When I tried calling it back, I got a recording that this line is not in service. Then HOW did it call me and WHY????
