I do not remeber setting appointment or have cancer so maybe there is a glitch in your computer system if it is randomly calling people! Please fix this problem

Got a call from this # today . A lady left message regarding a study with another # to reach her at. I called but no return call yet. It is MD Anderson

Just got a call at 6am. Weird thing is, my cell number is long distance(310)! Hmmmm.... Maybe I should sit in the lobby and make all my holiday calls to Jamaica next December! :-)

They just called me and left a message for someone I don't know about finishing the requirements and a thyroid removal. Left a number that I called back, to let them know they had the wrong number. Nice people - sounds like a cancer surgery answering service or satellite office for patient communication.

They are calling to see if you want to participate in a research study.  they are with MD Anderson/Kelsey Seybold Clinic

Called my cell @ 7:48AM this morning.Since I was driving I didn't really pay attention to the number & answered. They hung up.

Have been getting mupltiple calls from this number at various times throughout the day and evenings.  The latest call I received was this morning at 5 am.  I was sound asleep and when I answered the man ask me who was he speaking to.  I said who is this. . . He hung up on me. I do not or never had any business with MD Anderson.  I will call and report this as harrasement.  Hopefully that will get their attention. . to be a little more careful when they dial at 5 am.

It IS MD Anderson Cancer Center, outgoing trunk line.  It could be someone who hangs up before you answer, as has happened to me.

I work for MD Anderson so this statement is very true, no matter where on MD Anderson's campus, if someone dials out, this number will pop up. Could be anyone, anywhere including free guest phones in the lobby, any official department, or the hospital. This number will always pop up.

It doesn't matter which phone is being used inside MDA, they all have the same outbound calling number.  It could be a hallway phone, patient phone, coffee shop or volunteer standing at the door, the calls are all from the same out going number, so there is really no telling.

It is not MD Anderson calling. It is someone spoofing MD Anderson's number so you will pick up the phone. They are robocalling cell phone numbers, so you will pick up and then they will say "sorry wrong number". Soon as a result you will get SPAM text messages sent to the same number they are calling. This method of cell phone SPAM is picking up steam. Just wait, you'll see I'm right.

Got a call from this number.  Lady asked for Tess, she was told that she had the wrong number.  She called back again and hung up.  When I dialed the number to inform her that was rude, I got a recording that the number was only for outgoing calls.

I received a call from this number and they left a voice mail. It was from the MD Anderson Blood Bank, asking me to please come in and donate platelets or whole blood. I had donated on a prior occasion, so my guess is they are following up with prior donors. If you have never donated blood, it is possible you received a misdirected call.

Got one tonight, 10:45 PM on my cell phone. Thought I got to it in time but came up as a missed call.
No message left, call back states outbound only, as others have stated.  I also have no current
connection/business with M.D. Anderson. Weird at this time of night....

I received a call from this number today at 5 in the afternoon. The woman on the other end sounded elderly, and seemed nice enough. When I said "hello?" She said "oh dear, I do believe I might have the wrong number..." And I said "that's okay, maam. Who are you trying to reach?" And she said "Oh its okay...nevermind then" and that was that.

Got a call from this number at 2:44 a.m.  Woke me from a sound sleep but I didn't reach the phone in time to answer. When I tried to call back the number was an outgoing number only and could not receive calls. It was disturbing and kept me from returning to sleep. There is a crisis in my family and I worried that someone needed to reach me. If this is a prank then the caller should be ashamed and seek help.
