Just started getting calls from this number and it's so annoying! I never answer unknown numbers. INX INC is what it says on my caller Id. They call every day. Today (Monday) at 3:13 pm and yesterday at 3:28 pm last Thursday as well. I hate them! 1-713-795-2714 I have too many blocked numbers already on my phone I can't add another one =(

This number called me repeatedly 22 times. Once every minute while I was at work, and when I finally answered, all I heard were muffled voices (it sounded like a pocket dial), and I could only make out one of the men mentioning the city I live in, and then they hung up. I found that rather creepy, and then the calls stopped. The men never answered me when I said hello, and when I tried to call back, the phone did not ring.

This number is an Inmate calling you from jail/prison. The system connects to a service in Texas, not meaning the person in jail is located in Texas. But someone who knows you must be detained and calling you.

Our caller ID shows the same entity, "INX, Inc," but after researching that company, discovered 1) the actual company, INX, is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas area, Maryland & Massachusetts, 2) this number tracks to the Houston, TX area).
When attempting to call this number, (713) 795-2714, using ID Blocking, we received a host of error messages ranging from "all circuits are busy" to a busy signal (after a long wait) to absolutely no answer at all. Apparently, the real INX, Inc (it's doubtful this really is INX, but someone using their name on THEIR caller ID) is in the IT services business (look up INIX.com).
Again, it's doubtful this actually is the real INX but I will call INX on Monday (10-22-2012), speak with their IT department or Ops Mgr and advise them that someone is using their company name for caller ID. If that doesn't get satisfactory results, I will then write a letter (USPS, Certified Letter, with Return Receipt) to the CEO of that company.
Since the National Do Not Call registry has lost its effectiveness against telephone solicitor abuse, intrusion and harassment, due to these unseen thugs constantly working diligently to find a way around these safeguards, it would seem the only other option will be resorting to old fashioned vigilantism ("physical enforcement").
Sad, very sad.

Calls come from this number and another with the last 4 digits 2600. The company shown on Caller ID is INX Inc. Everytime they ask specifically for my wife or daughter by first name. If I say they're not available, they hang up quickly.

I just got one from that # (713-795-2714) @ 7:33PDT I don't answer #'s I don't know. They left no message. I called the # from a landline and got a busy signal. I'm on the do not call list and will report them.
