I got a change on my credit card.

They did the exact same thing to me for $179.79. I'm trying everything possible to get my money back!!!!!!!

They more or less did the same thing to me, they took $179.79 out of my checking account, without my knowledge or permission. I don't know how they got my account info, but I'm trying everything possible to get my money back!!!!!!!

Me too. Mine was in the form of an electronic check for 179.79. The check was made out to ACE Member Services, and the memo was for a subscription. The electronic check was made on the same day that I made an Estate Settlement with the Capital One Estate Claims office. That is the only time I've ever done a "check by phone", and it wasn't to ACE Member Services. Makes me wonder what goes on at these collection services.

me too. 149.99 charge made 6/21.   I called my cc company, and they refunded my money right away, which means to me they already know its a fraud, but not admitting it.  BTW cheapscents dot net is owns by ride easy as well, its obviously not a real store, but a facade, just like ride easy dot com. (Like i would buy my wife perfume from cheap scents!) -Paul

I too had a 249.99 charge on my card from Ride Easy. I am now disputing the charge...the same phone number was listed on my statement. These people need to get seriously busted!!

On my Visa credit card bill today was an unauthorized charge from "Ride Easy" at that number, for $179.99.  I never heard of them before. I phoned the credit card issuer to complain. They said that "Ride Easy" is an electronics company. I told them this is a false charge. They changed my credit card number.

Obviously, RIDE EASY is a name used by CREDIT CARD NUMBER THIEVES.

I too called the number in question and got the same run around. My next move will be to call the phone company and see if I can get to the bums that way.

As above, I had no phone call but received an unauthorized purchase of 4299.99 WHICH I WAS UNAWARE OF UNTIL MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY CONTACTED ME. The purchase was removed and my card replaced with a different one.

The organization listed is as follows: Ride Easy, 260 Eldorado Blvd., Webster TX. As above, a female voice recording invites you to leave a message, which I did. Not a very pleasant one at that.

Mine is not about a phone call BUT, I received a credit card bill and on my statement it has this phone number (713-893-7119) and Ride-Easy.com located in Webster, Texas. I did not make a purchase with them but have been billed for $279.99.  My credit card company says it is a TV/Radio/Stereo or somekind of electronics store.  Of course my credit card company is investigating, but they wanted me to call the number listed above to see what I could find out from the merchant.  Well no one answers no matter what time you call.  A recording comes on in a foreign womans voice and says "the person you are trying to reach is not available and leave a message"  My credit card is in my possesion so I am assuming this might be some kind of scam.
