Just called again. These guys, as Bubba said before do not take no for an answer. And they use other numbers as well. What is bad is I have seen folks complain from New Hampshire, Michigan, and Colorado. I'm happy I have caller ID because I never answer a number I'm not familiar with and I have the philosophy that if it wasn't important enough to leave a message it wasn't important enough to answer.

Making the rounds yet again. Called our office at 8:05 PM yesterday.

It must be that time of year again. They called our office at 8:51 PM on Friday -- Caller ID said "INCOMING CALL " <7139555501>. Since they were already on our reject list they went to phone hell.

a man called saying he was with the texas state police ,wanting money .i told him i was on a fixed income. and he kept on talking about the money,what part of low income do they not under stand.we can just make it myself,and i heard the police in texas doesn`t call for money. people shouldn`t give money on the phone.

of all of these calls from different numbers and now it's getting so they don't even have a name just incoming call.

This number called my family's house phone. All we heard on the answering machine was a tone saying "tryinf to connect you" in a computer program tone and then a man saying "bueno?" which is "hello?" in Spanish. We never answered or called back i figure its a scam caller.

Second nuisance call today.  Caller ID: says "Incoming Call".  So, we don't know anyone by that name.  So there is no answer.  No obligation to answer.  Just like people knocking on your door on Saturday morning carrying umbrellas and tracts, we don't answer.  Just like junk mail which goes directly into the trash (minus the nickels sent by Alzheimer's.)  Just don't answer these phone calls.  Life is too short to be sidetracked by scum like this.  Put a big smile on your face.  See there!  You are no longer the victim.  You are in charge.  Now when they call, ignore them.  They will not go away right away.  But if these clowns don't get your attention, they will disappear.  

I enjoy reading the many comments on sites like this, and I have filed my share of complaints.  Give it up.  Move on.  Y'all have a great day!

Got a call during dinner.  They left no message.  I did learn this is assigned to a landline in the metro Houston area.  I just was not curious cenough to buy the identity of our annoyance.

called  on my second number, no voice mail available.....if they call on my second number, I know they are not really trying to call me....

This is a Texas State Trooper Association soliciting non tax deductable donations for their union to get more benefits for State employees.  They call me every year and will not take me off their phone list or take no for an answer.  I live in Arlington, TX and they are calling from Houston, TX. for the donations!  Maybe they should save all the money they are spending on long distance phone calls and put it in their rainy day account!  But with this being the "wireless age" they probably aren't paying for long distance phone calls anyway.  State employees begging the tax payer for non deductable contributions?  Hey Governor Perry, what are we paying these guys to do, since they have to beg the public for their rainy day account?

Got a call from this number today.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Caller ID showed "Incoming Call".  I suspect it is a collection agency looking for the previous owner of my number. It is probably Protocol Recovery.  I have had many, many calls in the past 3 years from collection agencies looking for Brandi Kendricks.  Don't know her, but she owes somebody some money.  I'm so glad I have the Digitone Call blocker. Without it, TxFOP, ASR, Feed the Children, Charity Donate, Political Survey, Credit Control, Protocol Recovery, and many other agencies would be driving us crazy.
