I received the same message -- the voice is definitely Pakistani or Indian and the accent is just plain creepy.  It's almost hilarious to listen to them speak.  Sounds like someone who has been trained at a call center.  When I called back and asked for verification, they got threatening.  I hung up and was called back and threatened again.  I have contacted the FBI.

We got the same message as you all.  Officer John Adams called and claimed that he was from the Mass Federal Crimes Unit and had an arrest warrant out for me.  If you get this call, do not give him any information and contact your police.  Have the police officer from your local police come to your home and listen to the message.  Then they will make a report about the incident. THE person has an Indian accent, so you may not understand him at all.

These people are indians calling probably from India getting people's info from calling centers that are established in India. I had posted earlier that they had called me and threatened me. My brother took the number from me and called them while talking my brother suddenly switched from English to Hindi and the guy took the bait. My brother told him to stop scamming innocent people or he will send FBI after them. The guy on the phone said that FBI can not do anything against them. He told my brother to get lost a d never call them again and told him to stay out of their business . They changed their number  713-955-6354 by yesterday afternoon. Please post any new number they are calling from so we can call them repeatedly and teach them a lesson.

Same thing, got a call from someone stating his name was Officer John Adams!!  Left a message threatening me with arrest for oweing the IRS $.  The person leaving the message had a foreign accent.  I also got a very similar phone call from area code 214, one person leaving a message, and another person speaking with me when I called.  Both men had a very distinctive foreign accent.  When I questioned him asking why I have had nothing in writing from them, and asking for a phone # or address where I could verify any of his information, he beat around the bush a lot and finally hung up.  This scam is very upsetting and time consuming, and just disgusting that these scammers are trying to get $.  Unfortunately, they probably will be sucessful with some folks, probably the elderly.

stated he was from dept of crime and enforcement division, had 3 crimianl allegations against , gave badge number1705, had federal complaint and indentity investigation.

I got the same call 2 days ago and today same coll from other phone # 901-248-6986

called did call back after the call was dropped. Identified himself as an FBI agent that was coming to arrest my boss for non-payment of his taxes and wanted money now to avoid the arrest!!!

Also, even if you DID owe taxes to the IRS, they do NOT call you and certainly don't threaten you with arrest if you don't pay right then!  The IRS would mail you asking you to pay up, and they would give you several different options and time to pay.   Report the calls to www.irs.gov.

I also recieved a call from713-955-6354. The guy who called said that he is an officer with fedral crime & enforcement network located in Houston. They said that a complaint was filed against me and they have arrest warrants in my name. He said that I have outstanding taxes ( which i know i dont) and I will be arrested if I don't settle out of court now. He said that if I don't pay I will be behind bars by tomorrow morning. When I stated telling him to stop threatening me and started asking him questions he hung up. It's a Scam.

I got call from this phone number, Peron claimed to be from crime investigation department. It is scam.

Beware if you get a call from this number. The people on this call are trying to scam by saying they are from Dept of Crime in Houston. They demand that you owe IRS $XXXX and if you dont pay they will cancell your US citizen passport and they have notifitied your local people who will be there in next hour to arrest you.
