This is most likely a phishing scam... they call you pretending to be a debt collector but dont give you any info on who they are or its is fake info. This is why they hang up on you... once they realize youre not gonna give them anything or that you know what they are up to, they dont waste anymore time that can be spent stealing other peoples information.
repot this phone number to the FTC and your State representative. If you have more questions, call the FCC.

I have a real nifty phone that came with "Caller Block".....I simply add unwanted phone calls to the list and I am no longer bothered. You can add up to 30 different numbers. It rings once, blocks the call and all they hear on the other end is the one ring, a busy signal and then they are disconnected. I LOVE IT!!! It's a Panasonic that I bought through Amazon. Best $60 I ever spent!!

Received a call from 713-963-8818. The caller said it was about a "personal business matter" and immediately asked me to verify my DOB. I asked for more information about the call and he simply repeated, "a personal business matter." I stated I would not confirm any information until I knew what the nature of the "personal business" concerced. He refused to tell me. He repeated, again saying it was "personal business matter." I explained again I needed to know what it was about. He refused to tell me. We ended the telephone call.
I went to the website for this number and left a written comment asking them to identify the purpose of the call in writion

This company sucks and they need to get less rude people like a lady named Cheryl. She called me and got very rude I understand she is doing her job but if she doesn't like it then she needs to quit......As far as I'm concerned they are not getting a dime from me now. I wanted to pay off my debt but not if they are handing the collections on this.

Calls almost daily, no message, blank caller id. Very annoying!

Sorry, but Obama wasn't even the official NOMINEE when the economy tanked. Bush and his cronies started this crap.
| Ben 2012-03-16 16:30:16 Unknown |
Yeah we all say that but do you ever act on it? Do you know how much it costs to sue a big company? They will follow the laws to a "T" and then stretch them as far as they can, that's how they get paid.Very rarely do people win against collection agencies with large pocketbooks and lawyers on the payroll.Good luck with your suit and let us know if you win.

This site gives you a list by state and tells you how long a collector can collect and on what they can collect. Check it out. 4 years in the state of Texas. Check the list for each state you live in. Be sure to check the MORE next to your state to see what it says.

None of them can fix what they have done, and OBAMA has done nothing but make the problem worse. God created the world in 6 days and rested on the seventh.

I just received a missed call from this number. When I called back, I discovered it was a company called Frost Arnet. I was connected to an operator named Yolanda. She was a Bi**h. When she asked info, I gave her none other than the number she called. I told her I had no business with their company. She asked what number they had called. I told her. She asked if my name was ****** I said no, that isn't me and that I needed to be removed from their data base. She promptly hung up on me without saying anything else.
Sorry folks, you won't scam me.

Had a missed call from this company called frost and Procter. I caller them back and they asked for my number (the one they called) and I did. I was on hold for about 7 minutes and when the lady got on the phone she said she couldn't help me I need to call the company that I have the debt with. I asked who it was and the lady gave me a hospital name that neither me or my kids have ever stepped foot into. Then I asked "if I have to contact them why are you calling me" the lady responded by saying it was her job and said to have a good say and Hung up.

Frost-Arnett Company 10700 Richmond Ave Ste 256 Houston, TX 77042-4997. A debt collector
| John Q 2011-10-24 19:40:54 Unknown |
If they call you again make them send a demand for payment letter to you. Either go to the post office and get a post office box and have them send the letter to that address. Once you receive that letter you must send them a validation of debt letter requesting they send you a copy of any and all contracts signed by you in regard to this debt they are attempting to collect. If they cannot do this then they CANNOT collect on this debt and must stop any and all efforts to do so.

This is Frost-Arnett Collection Company's information for Texas:
Frost-Arnett Company 10700 Richmond Ave Ste 256 Houston, TX 77042-4997 713.963.8818 or 800.738.8055
When they called they said it was a personal matter and not a telemarketer or sales pitch. Refused to give any company information so I hung up and then called back on the Houston number on the caller ID. The answering machine said it was Frost-Arnett and if I did not know the extension to hang on until a representative could assist me. I hung up again. I have no outstanding debts other than my car payment and it is current.

Way to make up "facts" and then believe them. Obama's stupid spending policies caused our credit downgrade, he'll add more to the debt in 4 years than Bush rang up in 8, and he has no viable solutions to any issue facing America, as evidenced from the phony stimulus, to cash for clunkers, to throwing money away at green companies, to gunrunning to Mexican drug cartels, to the phony jobs plan, etc, etc. Is all that Bush's fault too? BTW, God created the world in 6 days, He rested on the 7th day.
