They obviously are on crack cocaine.  Legal assistants DO NOT get retained.  They work for lawyers who are retained by a client.  These jerks have a free parking spot in hell waiting for them.

Got this "serious looking" letter from the Law Offices of W. C. French.  The letter stated that Alistair Cook (legal assistant) has been retained by the firm of Greenburg, Grant and Richards.  I never answer these letters.  When I had a job, I paid bills.  Once the jobs go to the foreign countries, somebody is going to have to take it in the shorts!  I will not be me because I do not have anything to sue!  Unless they have a job offer for me, this is just another wasted parcel.

I've received several calls from the unesteemed Law Offices of WC French. I too received a call from a man who works for some firm who has been contracted as a private investigator to look into an unpaid debt. He sounded real smooth, confident, etc, and stated that he would "be at my offices" at 11am on Tuesday (which is today) to conduct an asset-liabilty investigtion. I was shook up a bit at first, but then got to thinking if this guy was really a private investigator he would know that there are no "offices" to go visit.

I called the Law Offices or WC French. I asked for a specific person and was put on hold. It sounded like the same woman who answered the phone, who was trying to disguise her voice. We talked about the debt and she said that they had initiated legal proceedings against me on behalf of Pearl Capital Management. She said they can seize all my assets legally and if I didn't co-operate, then the investigator would be escorted into the businesses.

Called and said that they are collecting on a debt. Based on a card that I had signed concerning a listing in the Yellow Pages.

got a call in my cell phone, and my home phone, about somebody who used my social security and want me to sue me, name and case number available from the person who call

I just got a call here at my work for the owner of the business. He told me that he was hired by this Law Firm WC French and that he was a private investigator. He gave me a date and time that he would be here to look at all of the assets of the company and that he had an appointment later that day with the bank as well. I asked him "so, are they being sued?" he asked me my same question. As soon as he gave me 800 numbers to contact them back I knew something wasn't right. So, I want to know if he actually shows up? He just called about 10 minutes ago. I just can't believe that they get away with impersonating an investigator.

Collection agency posing as law firm that has recently been disbarred.  Report them to you state Attorney General Office.

Got a call from this number said they were the Law Offices of WC French.

I just received a phone call from this number and some one with the name Kim asked me the owner.
The caller told me to give this phone number to the owner and to call him back. Even there is case number too.

Reports to be lawyer needs to talk to my business partner (female), and won't talk to anyone else.

Call from Kevin Hanes to my cell wanting to speak to my husband about a "business matter". When I offer my husband cell number to him he says "no just have him call me back at....."

Call from Kevin Haynes. Claims to be lawyer. Wants to talk to wife only. Will not divulge any other information.

Got the same call and it does sound really serious, the message they left had me a little rattled, however no-one would want me in any legal matter so I would say this is a scam too.
