every single day they call..so tired of it

This is a B***S*** call from a room full of scammers. Their main objective is to seperate you from
as much of your hard-earned money as they can. The best thing to do is answer the call and scream
abuse at them until they hang up. They'll quit calling. Don't be nice or polite, they are a criminal
enterprise out to steal from you.  

A man said he was looking for somebody I didn't hear the name and stated he was from Allstate Insurance. I told him he had the wrong phone number he told me no I do not and repeated my phone number back to me. I didn't say anything he promptly hung up and so I block the number

I get these calls several times a week. Like others say, they never leave a message, and I never answer their call. It is aggravating to have your phone ring and look and see this 714+ 202-4103 HEW, and know you're not answering it. But I will never answer it, doesn't hurt me, just ignore it.

I answered the phone AT WORK and was met with silence on the other end -- no disconnect -- just silence -- long enough for me to copy the phone number down in order to check it out online. Thank you 800notes.com!

Good point! If you don't recognize the number, it's best to simply not to answer. I like the idea of putting the phone on silent mode OR changing the number of rings so that it doesn't ring and ring ad nauseum before going to voice mail. I do appreciate, however, being able to look up numbers online to see if anyone else has had problems with the same number. Call it a case of unquenchable curiosity.

Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.

They are relentless.

They will NEVER stop.

Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.

Same here, caller ID says HBW and always 8PM PST.

This number keeps calling with no messages no anything. How do I stop this?

They call almost every night. I never answer and they never leave a message. Wish I could just block the number.

I got the call from this number at 8pm every day for the past 4 weeks.
They never leave message. Very annoying!

they called again.... I called them back again.... Pressed 1 to speak with an operator.... I got a smart a$$ telemarketer pretending to be Hispanic.... "Ola Signor, This is Rammmmmon with State Farm Insurance. How can I help you?"

"I had State Farm on my home last year when I purchased my new home. The agent I used I thought was a friend, the title company looked at the cost of the home insurance and thought it was to high but at that point I was obligated and out of time. When it came up for renewal it was even higher..... So I checked around and found that every one of the 6 other companies I checked with was no more than 1/3 the cost for the exact same coverage! So I cancelled the renewal and used another. I WILL NEVER USE STATE FARM!!! YOU GUYS ARE CROOKS!!!! SO TAKE ME OFF OF YOUR FREEKING LISTS!!!! SIGNOR!!!!!"

He didn't say much more so I hung up.... Ba$turds!!!

Daily calls, they don't leave a message.

They call my work phone almost every day (somehow they always manage to call when I am away from my desk) and don't leave a message. After taking two weeks off and having 13 missed calls from them, I finally called them back and there was a voice recording saying the company was HBW Leads Auto Insurance, and there was an option to take my number off their list. Hopefully it works and they don't call back.

called the number back and it has a "sorry the number you have dialed has been disconnected" recording...
