This guy calls and starts telling me that they do work on homes installing energy-saving equipment.  I asked him, "And you called me why?"  He hung up on me.  DO NOT CALL list does nothing.  We are helpless to do anything about the increasing volume of calls from telemarketers.  I have called and written my congressman, local officials, and no one seems to care.  Very frustrating because when I called the # back, a message said that the number was not in service??? What?

They keep calling at the same time of day every few days when no one is home.  They leave no message.  This has been persistent for the last couple of weeks. I don't know why they do not call at a different time.

Same problem here as with most previous posts--I'm just amazed by the tenacity of the people behind the 209 number.  They won't stop no matter what you tell them.

My Panasonic KX-TGA641 phone can only block up to 30 numbers. It has no function to block "Private", "Unknown", "Out of Area" and entire area code. Anyone suggests best model and brand phone with lots of block features.

Yes the person was breathing than hung up.

I keep getting called from this number also.  I also have a call blocking phone.  I can block specific numbers & it also blocks calls from people or businesses that block their number.  What a blessing.  My phone just rings one time & then disconnects them.  I agree with Jetames.  Buy a call blocking phone!

I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.

NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.   THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!

We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.

Thank you for sharing this.  We keep getting construction calls that are a complete nuisance.  I rejected a construction company and they must have thought it would be fun to offer my # to every telemarketer doing construction.  The amount of calls I get is enough to send someone over the edge.  I live with my ringer OFF.

Got a call from this clown... Caller ID showed (714)209-1269. It is some idiot claiming that he spoke to me a couple months ago regarding doing some work around the house. They were calling if I had any work that I needed them to perform. I said no and explained we had people in the family and friends that do all that work. The jerk was persistant and offered everything from home repairs to doing solar pannels. I told him no and to remove our name from his list. He continued and so I hung up on him. Thought that would be the end of it. He called back with a different caller ID # (818)300-2399. He informed me he was just talking to me and that I hung up on him. I told him he was right and that I told him to remove me from his list. I also informed him he no longer had business with us and was now in violation of FCC Laws. He couldn't get off the phone fast enough after that. Would I really want to do business with someone like that?

ugghhhh quit calling.  leave a message or go away.  I WILL NEVER answer my phone especially if I do not know who you are.  I'd love for a technology engineer to design a phone zapper that send a volt thru the phone to the telemarketer that cannot get the message....ZZZZZZZ not interested so quit calling!

at what point can we start zapping these callers thru the phone.  quit freaking calling my house.  either leave a message or go away.  sick of this caller.  may they be haunted by freakish callers at all hours of day and evenings!!
