I got a call from 714-229-7786, said they were from Toyota, but wouldn't talk to me when I started asking questions. The woman had a very heavy Mexican accent and said her name was Patti.  She hung up on me when I wanted to know why she was calling.

don't know about the number but the company they represent is legit. maybe this group of numbers make calls for a lot of companies. some of those companies might be scams.

I got calls from 229-7782 & 229-7769 & 229-7786

all were representing a market research firm in santa fe springs that pays $100 for my opinions on new cars. I already did a simular research last year for $350 It was impressive, got to see new BMW and Mercedies before they were released. Will be doing the research tonight.

This is just a reputable market research company, Research Design Specialists; they invited me to go see clay models of future cars to give my opinion; paid me $100 for 1 hour in Santa Fe Springs. If you attended an auto show or have bought a brand new vehicle within the last few years you may get these calls. They just want you as a potential future buyer to tell them what you like and don't like about the next car you may buy while they are still designing it. (You have to qualify though; you have to have a certain education/income level and can't work for the media or a rival car company. They want the opinions only of people who will be able to/will likely buy a brand new car in the next couple years. Different car models may require different qualifications also.)

i received a call from this number they said is from cox cable company to make a survey i called cox and they are not doing a survey

got the missed calls from these following similar numbers in a row: 714-229-7782, 714-229-7787, 714-229-7789. Called back, just kept ringing, no response.

I got the same call, 714-229-7782, called back and the phone just kept ringing

I have received several calls from this company pretending to be a marketing research company.  Other numbers that were used were 714-229-7367, and 714-484-3409.  They wanted information to see if I qualified to test drive a new Nissan.  I didn't qualify for the test research in which they said I would earn $75.

I get these calls every day, yesterday a woman asked for Rose, (not my name) I her not me. she then said well could I speak to her. I agian told her no one here with that name. I get calls from 714 229 7367 and 7782

I recieved a missed call at 1:30 6/26/08 from the same number I didn't call it back. But I must say I never recieved calls like this until I put my number on craigslist.com trying to sell something. Now I have recieved minimum about one weird call a week... Anyone else experience the same?

Received several hang up calls from this number today.  On the second call, a woman could be heard laughing just before the call was terminated.  They will not answer when you call it back.
