Okay, listen up, why would anyone answer this calling number (unless you have a call into Home Security)?  I don't answer 9 out of 10 calls that come in.  And, yes, I'm on dnc list.......which is a joke.  We can't let these scum bags win.....Quit answering unknown numbers, you're only letting them know there is a fish on the other end of the line.

they call from this 714-233-2042/Home Security and then don't answer you when you say hello.

CallerID says "Home Security".  They didn't leave a message.  Any company not identifying themselves or not leaving messages is a telemarketing scam.

Identifies as 'home security', answered, nothing from their end. probably just testing my end for a live line. blocked the number. We're on the both the federal and state DNC lists, which they obviously don't give two schitts about.

Azz-wipes calling all hours of day and night.....you'd think they would finally get the message after dozens of unanswered calls.

I answered, no response, then they hung up.

Have been receiving calls from different numbers now for several months from a company supposedly wanting to sell me a home security system. Didn't answer the call from this number today, but, I have in the past, and every single time I tell them that I already have a home security system that I am happy with, and to please take me off of their call list, they just hang up on me without even saying another word. Very rude of them! No reputable company conducts business this way, so obviously it's a scam.

Home security company called my unlisted cell phone.  I did not answer, but voice mail said to press 1 to agree to have them place a sign in my yard in exchange for a free system.  Press 2 to be placed on their do not call list.  This phone is already on the national do not call list, so it seems pretty obvious that they don't pay any attention to do not call lists.

They called my call and, of course, left no message. On do-not-call list, but makes do difference. Blocked it on my Verizon, but they probably will call just from another number.
