Received a call from this number on 3/18/2013 at about 9:30 AM central time. The caller did not leave a voice mail when I didn't take the call.

Likely a scammer and I have not been called back from this number since.

Sent in a complaint to Sprint and hope they shut the cell phone down.

I also received several calls from "Stone Whitman" about a packaged to be delivered.  The man was pleasant on the phone, but continued to address me by another name (not my name) even though I clearly told him I was not the person they were looking for.  These calls came each day around the same time, so I assume they are running some script to make the calls for their people.

I believe the next time they call I will lead them on and provide some address somewhere so at least they'll be supporting the post office with postage costs while they attempt to send packages.

Some rude person a man called my home this morning and said he was a third party  for a collection agency. I tried to let him know that the person he was looking for was deceased .And he told me that I was not telling the truth that she was alive. I tried to explain to this idiot that my mother had pass and when but he hung up on me. Please do not have this call again come to my resident. I would still like to know wno and what kind of collection agency this is.

Been getting calls from this # for a week now, several times a day. Alternates from unknown caller to David Rhodon. Reported, calls haven't stopped.

Recieved call 2 days in a row now.

  Received a couple of calls from this unknown #. No messages left on my voicemail.

Although all our bills have been paid on time for years, My wife and I have recently started receiving calls from fake collection agencies that want to know if someone will be home tomorrow to receive legal collection documents that must be signed for. Trust me - they will never arrive. They hope that you will pay your fake debt instead while they have you on the phone instead of getting the dreaded papers via courier on the next day.

I just received one today from Stone Whitman & Associates. I told her that I thought it was a scam so she told me they were real and even have a web site. I told her I could look at it now because I am already at a computer. She wasn't ready for this. I also Googled the company with the keyword, scam, and found out it was a scam instantaneously. She wasn't ready for that either. She said I insulted her but I told her she was nice but her employer was crooked. She said I was crooked and hung up on me.

Look at their fake Web site. http://www.stone-whitman.com Check out the fake address near the bottom, the fake Fax number, the fake links on the bottom. Click on the Services link. Interesting that their address says Florida when the Caller ID said California (714) 235-5265. IT'S ALL FAKE!

Please be aware that if you receive a phone call from any collector asking if you will be home tomorrow to receive papers on a debt you've never heard about, IT IS FAKE. Tell them you are reporting them to the BBB.
