A representative with a very thick latin accent called my 95 yr old dad and my son who both were treated rudely over the telephone.  They were threatened by the man with the latin accent and he asked for information about my fathers checking account.  The company is called Scott D. Caruthers located in Stanton, California. These calls with threats need to stop and the company needs to be shut down.  Another number they use is 800-495-8682..

Yes it is I had to quit my job because of them.Their overdraft charges are rediculous.They just keep multiplying them.Then to add insult to injury they came into the day labor place I was trying to get a job at.Also I had quit my job back in November 2006 and am just now hearing from a collection agency on their behalf.What a joke Im sure they thought I threw all of my documents away from back then but I didnt.Also I believe theres an experation date on bill collecting,Im definatly looking that up.Any way Im pretty much ignoring the whole thing.What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too got the letter.... I'm still trying to decide wether or not to reply... its frmo us bank, and account which i closed over 3 years ago but never got any letters about since. Till today that is...

Yeah I also got a threatening call, said I owed 1050.00 from US Bank that I thought I closed when I was in college. I think this is the way this bank makes money. You would think if the account has'nt been used for along time, they would close it sooner then charging up a bunch of fee"s. I still Have not received a letter and it makes me very suspicous of who this really is. Any clue other then its  an attorney?

Yeah I got a call from this office and so did my manager as well as my aunt. When i called them at 714-236-9700 and spoke with a lady, she was mean agressive and then she threatened me that they were going to take me to court and sue me for themoney that ai owed them from a year ago. She then told me that I go around just borrowing money and never paying it back. She had a very rude attitiude and was ver snappy about any remark I made. then she ended the conversation stating that she would find out where I lived....

I also received a call from this number and threatening to sue me for money that I owed for us bank. I agreed to pay but they are saying they do not accept money orders.they want me to pay them only by debit card or through a checking account, is this true?

I haven't recieved any phone calls yet, but I did get a letter threatening a lawsuit against me for an old account from 5 years ago that I was told I wasn't responsible for since I was a minor at the time. When I called the numbers provided in the letter (866-816-3791 and 866-645-9544) they didn't work.

I have been getting calls from this number, I do not answer, when I check my voice mail someone on the other end is cussing up a storm.

Do they have an e-mail?

I also got a from Regent Asset Management Solutions which also said that I owe US Bank $756.75 and which interest has accurred and now I owe $1122.10. They are also calling me and telling me to settle the debt and threatening me with a lawsuit. I know that I owe the debt but I wonder if the numbers they are calling from which are 1-866-645-9544 or 1-866-847-4539 are legit numbers. It is a letter from D Scott Carruthers that I also received as well.
