Second call from these Solar Scumbags, but they only get a half a ring thanks to NOMOROBO.

I just got a call from this number. I asked to be placed on their do not call list. The woman said, "are you asking me or telling me". I said I was telling her. She said, "it's not going to happen" and hung up on me.

Checked my missed calls - - they called today but left no message.  Time to block them I guess.

No one on the line.

One way to defeat them is to change your number, pay the phone company the $1.25 (not sure about that number) a month to have your phone number not published (very important) and then get a Google Voice number (it's free). Set the Google Voice number up so it is hooked up with your new home phone number, and only ever give out the Google Voice number.  Unlimited blocked numbers and it's free.  You do need to start out with a new, clean phone number though.  Can't block anyone that already has your existing number, except for buying a phone that allows you to block numbers.  I have one and it filled up quick.

Got the call; let it go unanswered and they left no message.  I just need to comment here--it's a shame that our peace of mind is being violated each day (multiple times per day) by someone trying to make a quick buck.  It's a statement of the kind of world we are living in now.  I am a senior citizen with many years under my belt.  This new form of "tele-terrorism" makes me sick.  It's terrible what is happening in our world when your own telephone is being used by unethical jerks that need to get a life.  Sad, very sad....a statement about the morals and values of human beings (if we can call the scammers and telemarketers that name).  Thanks for the opportunity to vent.  Bless you all on this website who provide this information and enable me to check out who these guys are when they are calling (and not answer!!!).

i'd ignored the call but i keep getting calls from the same number everyday so decided to pick up and ask to be removed from the list.  first question, this person wants to know if i live in california. i said i don't know him so not answering and asked to be please remove me from the list. then he turned rude and argued. how ridiculous...

God help them if I ever locate one of these people/companies. I've already compared their efforts to that of rape, and that they are below prostitutes and pimps!

But I didn't answer.  No message left.  C'mon folks.  Why do you answer these?  Just look at the number or name first before picking up!  If they know you, they will leave a legit message.  Otherwise just delete the spammers message.  Move on in life!

You're right, pissed, they will say about anything just to make a sale. I got called about the same time as you but once I told them a renter, then they themselves have no more interest in you.
They won't tell their colleagues though, so someone else from there will call you again and again and again. It never stops unless you have a way for your phone to block the #--before they create another fake one. don't even speak to seemingly individual names you don't recognize, that's now a new tactic they use. Solar ppl will not take not and keep calling and argue with you on phone about theier right to use the phone and no call list is a joke.   Name was Scott Kao and call from Anaheim likely.  Call blocking only holds so many numbers.  They seem to misrepresent auth to call from some commission.  They will say anything, why?
