I received a call from "John" at Diaz and Associates. I asked him who he was and why was he calling me. He would not give me a straight answer. He told me to cut the attitude...WHAT...THE ..!! I politely said excuse me and hung up..

He's legit, but a bit of a tool. I'm dealing with him as I write this. If he's calling you at work, then take his next call and "politely" ask him to stop calling you there. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act he has to oblige. If he doesn't, then he is in violation and risks being reported to the FTC.

Victor Diaz is calling at my work from Diaz and Associates, claiming he is talking to my HR and Payroll, now i work for a fortune 500 company, and thanks god they don't hand out personall info, but they did let me know they were getting calls from this #, is this a legit deb collector or just one of those penny collectors... please advise, Thanks
