Ernie called to talk to me about a very important matter.  I don't know an Ernie!

Some guy called me today and threatened my life !! I asked him what this was about and who he was and he told me I had legal problems and I better take care of them or he would take care of me !! I googled the number and came up with several numbers listed on this website that are close almost exact meaning a possible other extension for this business but not sure so I made a O.C. Sheriff's report for Terrorist Threats which is a crime while also reporting the number that continues to ring BUSY when trying to callback. (714) 263-8242.. Know your rights  if they threaten you, call your local police. This is crazy but don't be discouraged...

If you received a call from ACM saying they were going to serve you with legal papers, be aware they are a collection agency only and can not do this.  File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  What they are doing is ILLEGAL.  Also, file a complaint with your State Attorney General's Office.  I have consulted a lawyer myself to sue these people for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  Here are some links for you.  I'm in Texas, but find your state's AG.  Also, here's a link to lawyers who will work on your behalf to sue these guys.

I just got a call at my work telling me it was a time sensative matter... if they don't hear from me by this afternoon they would show up at my place of business.  Left this number to call him back.  714-263-8250...

Ernie called our office saying he had a very sensitive matter he needed to discuss regarding delivery of the papers for one of our employee to appear in court.  He gave no other details except his name was Ernie at this phone number.

I've been getting phone calls from this person too! Ernie! I have no idea what was going on. So I decided to look up the number and found this!

I HAVE BEEN GETTING PHONE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING THEY WANT MONEY FOR A VERIZON WIRELESS ACCOUNT.  I HAVE NEVER HAD A VERIZON WIRELESS ACCOUNT.  THEY NEVER GIVE THEIR NAME OR WHAT COMPANY THEY ARE FROM.  THEY JUST SAY THEY ARE GOING TO FILE SUIT IF I DON'T PAY THEM.

One Ernie called saying he was from the county recorders office and needed to speak with me about some particulars on a document in his office. The area code matches the county offices, but the number comes up as a private land line. How can I verify without calling?
