Now the company name using 714-272-7257 is Sunrise Home Center.  There is nothing showing with a Google search for this name in California or Sec of State business search or contractor's license name search.  I told Rachel Johnson I am not a homeowner and on the DO NOT CALL list and I am going to report her.  She started with the attitude saying I couldn't report her for nothing.  Then she hung up.

How can I get in touch with you?  This guy just called my dad and threatened to come to our house.  I would post my e-mail or phone number, but I think that would be counter-productive :) Thank you.

Called and said she was from the Target Home Center and that she had spoken to me last year. When I said she hadn't spoken to me last year, she hung up.

They are now hiding behind a "Cell Phone" caller ID to try and fool people. They know that the old numbers that showed a city like Yorba Linda CA. or Orange CA were a dead giveaway to being a Telemarketer.

We've received a few calls with a similar pitch.  They want to do various types of construction work on our house.  Roof, bathroom, new doors...

Honest contractors respect the DO-Not-Call list.  I wouldn't do business with anyone who starts off violating the law.  Contractors who do a good job for a fair price are bussy, those who don't need to do this type of marketing to find new customers.

I have threatned telamarketers with law sutes, but who has the time...I commend you....i hope they get the point when it hits their pocket book. I received a call for the 2nd day, with the old stupid tag line " You called me a year ago to follow up on a project at your house" I led him on with questions regarding if he was a general contractor and pernet questions regarding his company....he was totally lost, so I kept him on the phone for a while longer, screwing with him then told him I was on the do not call registery and I have the right to sue him and his company...he studdered and stammered and then I got boared and hung up.

Called again today. After I specifically told their boy never to call me again.

Cheer up, everybody.

Just yesterday I cashed a $3000 settlement check from a telemarketer. I had sued for $7000.
And the best part is, this is the SECOND time they've paid out to me. Clearly they don't use an in-house DNC list as required by law.

By the end of this, I had the company owner begging me to call him on his private number if any of his employees should ever phone me again. After going to a branch of his own bank and getting cash-in-hand (no way to stop payment), I went to the courthouse nearby, filed for dismissal, and marked the dismissal papers with "Dismissed without prejudice" which means if I get even one more call, we continue as if a settlement never happened.

If "Target" calls again, they're really going to be a target -- for my Purple Missile of Lawsuit.

I received numerous calls from his number.  Caller called waited for answer and hung up.

They called and said "Mrs (my last name)", I stupidly said "Yes" and they hung up. I was told the prisons have a scam. Once they get me saying Yes to my last name, they have permission somehow to make collect phone calls.  They charge my phone. I have to wait for phonebill to come so I can reverse the charges.

It is from Target Remodeling.  Southern accented man sounded as tho he has had WAY too much moonshine.

Another telemarketer who could care less about do not call list, especially since our wonderful government does NOTHING to help.
