Keeps texting me to my cell which I have to pay for.

Wtf seriously? So to get around not being able to telemarket cell phones they text you? That's some bull! This is the 3rd spam text I've got in the past 2 months. If I was interested I'd call you at your business phone #, not text you. Jesus, take a hint and go away!

I received text from this number.  I see someone else received a message about the sports bar and grill that I received.  I told them I'd report them if I received another one.  Apparently, they don't care.

This is how you get back at those scammers:

Call their toll-free number (1-866... or 1-888... or 1-800...) from a PUBLIC PHONE booth.

Why? Because everytime they take such a call, they have to pay at least $0.50 to the phone company of the public phone booth! Also, it will make them stop if it
starts to cost themtoo much.

Please do the same, because this is what you get out of it: they pay you to hear your complaints! The more you call, the more they have to pay!    

The number they gave me was 1-888-336-3169 - and I called this number today at least 20-30 times... That costs them at least $10 to $15 - and probably much more, because the $0.50 that these scammers have to pay for each call is the minimum amount. It can be as high as $0.75 per call.

Sent unsolicited text about struggling to make mortgage payments.  

My cell phone is on file with the Federal no call list.  The person sending these text messages is breaking the law.  I hope they get what they deserve!

Unsolicited text message about mortgage payments... how is this legal?

they have texted me twice in the last two days about the mortgage thing. I called the number from a blocked land line and no one answers (suprise suprise) and the voice mailbox is full... probably lots and lots of other people like us aggravated that we are getting these messages!

Texted me for the 3rd time about helping me with my mortgage, on my I-have-to-pay-for-each-message phone, which is also listed on the Do Not Call registry. First, I don't need help. Second, the only thing I know about these dirtbags is that they spammed me. Even if I were struggling to make payments these are the LAST people in the world I would consider.
