Thought it was fishy so Google it. Said to opt out so I did and the text better stop.....

Got this message after installing zedge ring tones, which is a scam.

Got a text message that said "Need cash today? Get up to $1500 wired to your bank in 1 hour! No credit check * Instant approval! Text CASH for more information, text STOP to opt out -SURVEY." No idea who this person/company is or how they got my number but it's annoying. This is the first one I've gotten, hopefully I won't get anymore.

I got the "eliminate debt" spam txt msg - I work for a telecommunications company. I have no problem with finding out who they are and having their number blocked.

It said something about eliminating debt. I have never gotten spam texts till today. How did they getmy number?
