I live in south OC. I dug up as much info on this number as I can. The company it claims to represent is called Smart Energy Advocates. Their erbsite is http://smartenergyadvocates.com, a site that hardly looks legit. According to http://www.businessconsumeralliance.org/repor ... cates-100108740, SEA is a Telemarketing Services company located at 20405 Via Sonador Yorba Linda, CA 92886. Their business line is (888) 688-9415. The CEO of the company is named Andrew Gold, his LinkedIn is here: https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=6407615&authType=name&authToken=Pbsr. The parent company that operates all of these call centers is called Teloro S.A. de C.V. and is located in Tiajuana Mexico, hence the skirting of FCC laws. Got a call from this number a few days ago.  They asked for somebody I never heard of.  They then started on about solar crap...I hung up.

Got a call on our business office phone yesterday from the same number..  When I answered, all I heard was some fool laughing in the background and they hung up.

Today when I got to work, my phone shows they called again last night.

Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.

They are relentless.

They will NEVER stop.

Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.

They keep calling about ten times A day and I usually don't answer, but this morning I did. The first five seconds of the call consisted of multiple voices as if the caller was in a large room and finally a guy started screaming "HELLO?! Helloooooo?" Into the phone even though I said hello first.

Claim to be from Microsoft and need to help me stop sending spsm. Very difficult to understand, heavy east Indian accent.

Got several calls from these construction criminals.  They've not left messages, CID says "out of area".  Added to my call blocker.

This number 714-333-1266 called, I answered said hello a few times while hearing lots of talking in a room. They then hung up on me. Few minutes later, call comes in from 714-450-6017. It rang twice and they hung up. Didn't answer, searched this # and someone said it is people trying to get active phone numbers. I suspect 714-333-1266 is doing the same thing. I would not answer.

I've received calls from this number the last 3 days.  Been using NOMOROBO.COM for several months so
It rings once and is sent to a black hole.  It's a free service and work great.

I get repeated calls from these people about a solar system.  This time I scheduled an appointment.  A woman showed up lugging her materials.  I asked her for her card and after getting it, told her I was filing a complaint with police because of their illegal telemarketing activities and then shut the door in her face.  Her name is Krassi Griffin, Project Manager for California Best Solar.  The address is 5670 Wilshire, Ste 1800, Los Angeles, CA 90036.  There phone number is 877.572.7718.  Her mobile is 310.893.9791.

I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau... On to the FTC.

I called this number back and its a marketing company. They ask if I owned a home and I said no, that got me off the hook. They are selling some type of government solar panel and want to rebate money back to you. Be CAREFUL!!!!!!
