Receiving multiple phone calls from Affidavit Consolidation Service, which is obviously operated by a middle-eastern group of individuals. stating I am being taken to court for a non-existant loan without being able to or refusing to provide particulars.  Since I do not have an outstanding loan with any payday loan company from 2008 I know this to be a scam.  I am taking great pleasure in speed dialing these people back for the sheer pleasure of driving them insane.  I have also informed them that they have been reported to the better business bureau, that they have been "scammed back", and lastly...to "Have a nice day."  This company should be wary of who they contact, their education, and their resources to the legal system.  To Fed Up...here is the name of the company...best wishes with your lawsuit.

these people call my job everyday and if I hang up they keep calling back.  Yesterday I hung up at least 15 times back to back they keep calling back.  I then spoke to somebody that I barely understood  he first said he was a police detective and then he was a attorney. they are a true pain in my a** but when i proceeded to tell them to fax me the invoice proving that i owe them they wouldn't do it.

These people just called me and said they were calling from a company called ACS. The caller identified himself as Michael Jones, but had a thick Asian accent. I told him that he has the wrong number but he continued spelling the name of the person he was calling for. I hung up on him. Thank you for the former post above on this issue. Most helpful in understanding this is BAD thing!

These people called me about 10 times today, then called my mother as well.  I think they're stealing identities because as previously stated in other comments, they said I applied for a loan and that they were sueing me.  They had my social security number, address, two phone numbers and my bank account information.  I'm calling my bank and updating my SS# protection to high alert.  This is pretty scary.  Anyone think that since they're foreign that they're making fake identities for passports, or just stealing your identity?

from the research I've done, you should not confirm or give any of your info to these people.  file a police report immediately and change your bank account information.

FYI, I just called AT&T asking to block 714-333-2407 from my phone number (thought that might solve the pesky phone calls) and they told me THEY CAN'T! I even asked if it was possible for them to do it for ID theft victims with legit police reports. They said NO. I know that's BS since they blocked a number for my younger sister 6 months ago. She was getting harassing texts/calls from someone who wouldn't identify themselves. Anyway, AT&T also told me for $4.99 a month I could subscribe to a feature that allows you to block 50 numbers. WHAT A JOKE! I will be looking in to changing carriers when my account comes due! :( Just a bit of info for anyone who had the same idea I had and has AT&T.

They call and harass me about a pay day loan that I took out in supposed november 2008... I did not take a payday loan out at that time, nor any time at the end of year 2008 or anytime this year! They start calling me at 7am and dont stop till 10pm... They do not speak english very well, they demand for my lawyers information, so i demanded them to send me the information and I would forward it to my lawyer. I clearly told them in the state of TEXAS you can not be sued for any unpaid debt, both parties are liable. These people do not "TRANSFER" the phone lines, you can hear the other person talking in the background about your """"FILE""" and all they do is cover the phone and pass it to one another. They must be a scam because they do not know proper business/customer lingo, and are persistent and rude... I will get a lawyer if they keep harassing me like this... also in the state of Texas you can be sued for financial harassment... gotta love it.. f**kers... keep calling me, see what happens! I also told them, I would love to speak to an American representative from an AMERICAN telephone number and then I hung up.

started getting phone calls in November of 2009 from ACS stating that they were going to take me to court for a loan that i never got. I became scared and gave them all my information. I started to feel very weird about the whole thing so I went to the bank and canceled my accounts. They were able to get one payment from my account before I closed it. Now the calls are back!! Jason Smith from ACS is threatening me to get a warrant for my arrest because of non payment and saying that I have 6 Counts on my social secuity. One of those counts being check fraud because when ACS tried to go into my account for their second payment my account was closed......

The one that says robert and f**k are obviously people who work for these scammers. Just look at the grammer and they are not right. Legally u cannot be arrested for any outstanding loans. You would the most get a court date for a hearing. Two, if they are not forwarding any paperwork to you and they are not americans its a scam. Three, the called my 15 year old sister and left a message for her saying that I committed a crime in her name! First of all people if you committed fraud you won't get a phone call about it let alone ur relatives getting a phone call about it, you would get a knock on your door from the police or feds. Report these people find out your rights in your state on what you could do to protect urself and how you could fiile charges against them! I know my dad is a cop in ny. So please don't give out any information and don't be scared! Don't let them fool you!

The problem is that the account they are speaking of had been closed 4 months prior to the supposed deposit! I am going to sue if i can ever find out who it is!

Nice try.  They can't sue you for check fraud because of a payday loan.  Nor can they threaten to have you arrested.  I've been getting these calls for over a year now.  I just don't answer; I delete their voice mails without even listening - unless I want a laugh.  And when I do answer while I'm at home, they get an earful of air horn, or the tone of phone buttons in their ears.  They always call from different numbers, and I block them on my cellphone.

Once, my husband and I were drinking, and decided to have a little fun with them.  The guy solicited me for phone sex.  When I hung up on him after a while, he called back and asked my husband how much I charged.  I told him to mail a check.  He never did, the little scumbag!

Also, be careful if you answer their calls from your cell phone.   I had to call t-mobile customer service 4 times in one night because they logged that each call was over 30 minutes long, and depleted my minutes 4 times over.  They didn't get away with that, either.

Recieved two calls today starting at about 1pm est. they were back to back telling me to contact them or have my lawyer to as soon as I got these messages or all they could do was wish me the best. The calls appeared as out of ares so my answering machine picked them up. His name was Jeff Carter or Jeff Parker he is foreign and I could not understand him good. I have been getting these calls for a year now from different numbers and names. Does it ever stop? The number I am to call is 1-714-333-2407. I have not contacted them.

Yeah, I just started receiving the call this morning. Since 7:30 a.m. "he" has called me 18 times! I can't make out what he is saying outside of what Tiff (above me) said and the name he gave me; Gavin Smith. The weird thing, however, is that I started receiving calls from this same guy but the number appearing on my phone was my girlfriends. It happened four times so I restarted my phone and he called back again from HER number. When I finally answered it (because I ignored the calls all day) I told him if he wanted to conduct business with me he had to get someone that speaks English. I haven't heard from him since.

same deal as everyone else on here. calls starting coming in around 7:30am, caller has strong accent, can't understand where he's calling from. caller said something like "if you don't return this call all I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you" kind of sounds like a threat to me.

He said he was calling from ACS or Acrodavis contradations services (hard time understanding what he was saying) Name he gave me was Alan Parker!
