I received many calls from this number. They said they are calling me back for a home remodel I wanted. I dont own a home or live in california. Yet they still call once a week.

Got a call from this number displayed as a California Cell Phone. When I answered there was only music on the line then a guy says "Why are you so upset? Is it because you're getting old?" and hangs up.

Get calls from this number everyday.  I just let it ring now, but it gets annoying.  The times I did pick up (maybe 1/2 dozen times or so), nobody says nothing and they automatically hang up in like 7 seconds.  I'm thinking it's automated, but nothing happens when answered.  I tried to call the number back a few times but it goes straight to a voicemail saying "we're sorry, the mailbox belonging to "design center" is full and cannot accept anymore messages.......".  This is so annoying.  Been ongoing for about 3 weeks now, and they call everyday.  I just ignore it now.

If you have ATT U-Verse service, log on to your account and click on "phone", then on "manage features", and then with "call filtering" you can block numbers.  (Be sure to click on "save" after you enter the number.) I currently have blocked 17 obnoxious callers.  Also, some cordless land-line phones such as Panasonic have call blocking features, but you do hear one ring before the call is blocked, and you can see it as blocked on the screen on the handset.  With the ATT caller blocking, you never even know they called. Try it.  It works.  You can block 20 numbers with ATT and 20 additional numbers with the Panasonic cordless.  When the list of blocked calls gets maxed out, you can try deleting the oldest ones to see if they have given up so you can add new ones.

You can call the PD from the originating city on the non-emergency line. Doesn't work for occasional telemarketers, must be some form of harrassment. I have done this a couple times. Here's a link for Anaheim:

I spoke to a man who called from this number...I asked him to take me off his calling list...he was very rude
and continued to call me...i finally lost my temper and yelled at him and again said do not call me....Now
he calls me everyday and when I answer he just laughs and hangs up.  This is harrassmant!! Can't he be reported to the FCC or something...this must be against the law....

I got a phone call today from a "Kevin" saying he was with the California Energy Program. He said they wanted to save me money on my Edison bills, and their program would would only be $15.00 a month. When I asked more questions, he said they worked with Edison and wanted to schedule a time they could come out to my home and show me a demonstration at no cost. (Then I wondered, how could he work with Edison if their trying to take away Edison's business?) Knowing that, I asked him what their website was, and he abruptly hung up on me.
