Answered this call and they said hold for CBE GRP.  Stayed on the phone for about 10 minutes and just heard music. Hung up. Didn't answer the first time they called.

Got a call from this number on my MagicJack line, answered it and a recording said please hold for CBE GRP...I hung up and did a web search that brought me here.

Just called. Seems to be a debt collection company, CBE Group. They work for the federal government.

They have called my cell phone twice - at least. Will contact my friend who is an attorney. I am on the Federal Register-do not call list. A**holes cost me money.

They are harassing you. This is their way of 'keeping you on notice'. Don't even need a person, just keep calling - and you know who they are and why they call. At least, that's what they believe. Could be calling the wrong person with the right name.

This number calls me anywhere from 15-25 times a day! It's getting OLD! It should be a requirement that if you want to call my cell phone.... or ANYONE's ANY phone you should have to have your business name on the caller ID not just the number.  Its BS.  I pay my bill not them.

I just add them to the reject list on my cell and not have to worry about them...

Sure they are, but they are callign to the worng person, I do not deal with any collector............so far I am doing good . anoying and hatefull they call you , do no leave mesasge any time................when you call back just answer machines.

They keep calling and they have 3 addresses !!!! we are gonna press charges if this keeps up

2-3 times a day thay call and when I answer it just hangs up.  It drives me nuts.

I finally found a way to get these types of calls to stop.  We bought a printer that is also a fax machine.  I got fed up with these people calling 2 to 5 times a week every week for more than a year.  I plugged in the fax machine and set it to auto answer in 3 rings so it wouldn't go to voicemail.  After one week I checked my caller id and each of those mortgage places had only called once after the fax machine was plugged in. I let it on 2 more weeks to make sure I got all of them.  Apparently if it is a fax machine that answers they (or their computer that calls) removes your number from their list.  I has been 3 months since I did this and I get no more calls. Yipee!!!  Yeah!

I've been receiving phone calls from  714-364-4489 my caller  id  show CBE GRP. They never talk or say something, after a few seconds they just hung up. When I don't answer, they never leave a message or anything. That's becoming very frustrating....what can we do???

Panasonic has a phone that will block 20 numbers of your choice.I am behind on all my bills.Some creditors will work with you but CBE ... one Rep.actually said"I am talking to you on your phone so you must have some extra money to be able to afford a phone" Good luck with these folks,They have moved to last in line..Had she not made that statement,this 49.00 that I paid for the phone would have made a    payment on the account

Gotten 3 calls in three days, same thing, no answer and no message. If they are a collection agency they are a very poor one!! I have paid off everything I have and owe no one, so I am wondering why they are calling me if they indeed are a collection agency. HOW CAN I STOP THEM!! They are calling me on my magic jack number as someone above stated. I think it has something to do with them, I give that number out to no one, I only have it so my family can call me for free,

It is The CBE Group and indeed it is a collection agency.  They've called me on my cellphone numerous times using 9 different tel.nos. in this last 6 months or so.  I either just press "ignore" on my cell or sometimes I answer and disconnect after 1 second so no message can be left.

I am getting phone calls 4-5 times a day from 714-364-4489 the caller ID says CBe Grp....If i dont answer, they dont leave a message, if i do answer they hang up...i tried calling it back and it doesnt even ring it just disconnects after a few seconds. i called my phone service provider to get the number blocked and they said they cant do anything about the phone calls-HELP how do i get these phone calls to stop???????????

I have gotten the same calls on my cell phone.  I am on DNC list with my cell phone.  Why is the govt not taking care of this

They've called me many times and when I answer there's no response, then after a few seconds they hang up.  Very annoying.

714-364-4489 my caller ID shows that is from PLACENTIA,CA I don't know it looks like is a callection agency.

I am tired of these continuous calls.   These people need to be taken out and have the Cr*p be*ten out of them.   They interupt my day, there is nothing but silence and the numbers change every day, but the results are the same, no one is there.   Iritating

They also use 781 884 0678 & 713 963 8818 & 502 565 1321. Always calling never leaving a message! very annoying I just press IGNORE!!

I believe they are a debt collection company.

This call comes to my cell phone everyday since Jan 1..Doesn't leave a message..How can they be stopped??

These jerks keep calling me too...they are also connected to some number in Massachusetts...never leave a message.  Who in the heck are they?

Call 3-4 times a day to a business phone.  Each time they disconnect upon our answer.  If no answer they leave no message.  Very annoying.  When I learn all identities, I will be referring to FTC for FDCPA violations.
