Said they were with capital one and wanted to reduce my interest rate on credit card to 6%. CCalled capital one and they said fraudfraud

Called my cell (which is listed on the do not call list). I knew it was a phishing scam when they said they were calling about about my credit card account and wanted to lower my interest rate but did not identify any bank name. I did however press one to "talk to someone" because I wanted to know who was on the other end. A male voice answered and sounded pleasant but did not identify himself by name. He wanted to know MY name and wanted me to verify my account number. I told him I would verify the information as soon as he told me his name, the bank the account was listed with and the name on the account. He hung up! I have now reported the number and phishing scam to the State Attorney Generals office.

Called my cell I answered cause my friend lives in CA with same area code the automated message said it was an important  offer from my credit card company to lower my interest rate, but it never said which c/c company it was it literally just said "your credit card company" then it told me to hear about the offer to press pound, I hung up... Defiantly a scam

I had a missed call from this # today (1/25/14) around noon.

This # called me i answered and it hungup. I call bavk and get a busy signal. I reveresed the #, it says its a vwrizon cell phn.

Unknown. Didn't answer. Call back is constant busy signal.
