Have gotten 5 calls withn the last two weeks. Caller ID: WIRELESS CALLER". Leaves no mssg.

This is a WP hit for "Linda Janowski" but don't know if it's the same person or in any way affiliated with these calls.

Screen displayed LINDA JANOWSKI and this number. When I answered, there was silence, then a click, and finally a noisy boiler room background sound and a guy -- pretty clearly not Linda -- came on the phone and greeted me by the wrong surname. Over his cheery greeting I said, "Wrong name, wrong number, no money here, get lost!" And hung up.

The number is now on local block.

Get calls from this number about twice a month, with faux-polite greeting, "Hi, Mr. xxxx, how are you doing today?" Then a long-winded explanation that people are in the area and are available to drop by for blah blah blah, etc. etc.

Each time I tell them that we're on the DoNotCall Registry, so we shouldn't be getting these calls. Doesn't seem to have any effect.

This latest time, after I explained that, the cold-calling lady just hung up. Didn't even get a "sorry," or the lie that "we'll take you off our list, then."

Sigh.

This number has called several times and each time they ask for my mother-in-law, which has been deceased for 2 weeks now. Have told that she is deceased every time and they keep calling asking for her, we to are on the FTC list and they still call. Have called the number back and each time it comes up with "this number is no longer in service, or has been changed, or is not working.

We are on the FTC do not call list and still these people call.

This number has called my home several times. Linda Janowski 714 404-6349.  Call hung up when I picked up phone.  Then this number called right after 801 823-2024 as well as several unknown and 00000 numbers. Tired of this new foot in the door sales methods.  Stop polluting the privacy of my home.  I finally answered the 0000 call.  Very aggressive sales person.  Exchanged insults with me and had no trouble with it.  Beware - let your answering machines weed out the trash.
