Got the same text as everyone else. Replied who is this and they asked the same. I mistakingly gave them my name thinking it was an old friend. Should've checked online first. They even true calling me twice. Now I'm creeped out. :/

I got a text from that number too. However, when I call that number it is disconnected. I believe that someone is spoofing the number in a fake text just to see how many people reply. From that list of known respondents they are likely to target us with SPAM

Received text message " hey we haven't talked in a long time...."  No known person.

Got a txt from this number:

"Hey we haven't talked in a long time. How have you been?"

Just go the same message at 8:12 pm :

Same as above, don't reply. This lets the spammers know they have a "live" number

Got a text yesterday evening with the same message....googled it and found this site.  Crazy.  And yeah, what does someone have to gain by sending this text?

I just received a call from this number and like always if I don't recognize it I search online for who the number belongs to, an apparently I'm not the only one who got the text and with the same message "Hey we haven't talked in a long time. How have you been?"  After seeing all the complaints about the same number and text, I am not goin to waste time replying!

I bet this is just a mass text and whoever responds they are going to use our numbers for advertising/spam purposes. I'm filing a complaint with the FTC.

Dam, should have checked here first. I got the exact same text "Hey we haven't talked in a long time.  How have you been?" at 1130am, responded asking "whos this?" at 1132am. I haven't received any response confirming who it is. Did some online searching and it links to a person named Gustavo Ramirez in Santa Ana, CA. I dont know anyone by that name.

I Just got the same txt  about 15 mins ago rom this number saying  "Hey we haven't talked in a long time.  How have you been?"  I responded with who is this?  I also did not receive any response.  Should have checked here first....

its an ATT cell with no voicemail setup. Some do***ebag, with nothing better to do and no friends...probably the next mass mall shooter.
