Screen read SANTA ANA CA and this phone number. I answered and heard only muffled boiler room noises, then a disconnect. Now on local call block.

You better ask your neighbor if it is OK with him, before you do that.

The more complaints there are the more likely it is that something will be done.
Also, if you can find an address for the caller, send him a cease and desist and go through all the steps it takes to prove what you sent and that it was received.  After that, you may be able to file suit in small claims court under the TCPA.

I know what i m doing im going to give them my neighbors address cause where i live which is an actually safe neighbor hood cause there are 7 police man who live here and they are all cool.. with seemingly that i work with other police officers at my security jobso when whatever company that this number is calling from im just going to ask them to come down here and give them my next door nighbors adress and im sure he will tell them to f**k off

if you tell them not to call you again and they do you have the right to report them and you will get a sum of $10,000 for harassement compensation i forget what the term is called but if you say"don't call me" or "take me off the list" and they continue to call i have the right to sue them,its been done with certain companies that ive worked with..so i hope we can all make some $$$ when they call again good luck

I am seeing a lot of complaints, so why is the owner of this site doing nothing to report this to the authorities?

Absolute Fraud.  The phone number is even "spoofed" because if you call if back you get a disconnected number.  Pitch is to sell Google search engine listings.  Try being nice to the caller to get the full background info, then post.  (I'm doing my best.. but they're very aware of the fraud and hang up when you ask too many questions.)

I get this call almost every day at the same time, now I just don't answer the phone.  It is not legal to harass a
person like me, isn't it?

I'm working at home and just got a call from these telemarketing scum.  I asked what company they represented and the bi*** replied Los Angeles Home Center.  When I mentioned the Do Not Call violation she hung up.  When I called back, the recording says the number has been disconnected or changed so they are spoofing the CallerID.  There is no such company showing up in Google.

So it's a waste of time to submit a complaint to the FTC.  I think I'm going to start talking to these scum bags next time and set up an appointment and when the person shows up, get their business card and tell them to go away because they violated the DNC registry.

Numerous calls from "OUT OF AREA". Leaves no mssg.

With caller ID I don't pick up when I don't recognize the number.  I've received  quite a few calls from this number.

Got two calls one right after the other, I called back to find out but it said no longer in service!!!

Same as the rest.  Just calls and then hangs up.  Except, I could hear what sounds like busy call center in the background.

buy a cheap answering machine.  put a suitable message on it...one that won't insult your friends & family but will get the message across that you aren't going to drop everything & answer annoyance calls!  i NEVER answer any more, even when i'm doing nothing.  if the call stays on thru my message, it's probably someone i know & i answer.
we thankfully live in a country where we aren't REQUIRED to answer the phone when it rings!

So listen carefully to the "you have reached a number that has been disconnected. " message.
It is a recording that the caller made not a real message from the phone company.

Called this morning and no body there.  Sounds like the same ratty construction call center that call here every day.  Interesting that the last four digits are always 4444 and the numbers all always spoofed.  Spoofing is PROOF of intent to hide their real identity and PROOF of dishonorable intentions.  If these guys want to dispute it, why do tthey:
1Spoof their number (FCC violation)
2Call on the do not call list (FTC violation)
3Repeated calls after explicit direction not to(FTC violation)
4Excessive abandoned calls (FCC violation)
5Refuse to give real name of business, license number, business license number, address and do not call policy in writing (so many violations here that I am not even going to comment)

Give me one good reason to do business with violators like this?  Why aren't they in jail?  On a chain gang in the hot son, in pink underwear, living in a tent city and eating bologna sandwiches?  HMMM?

Someone from this number has been calling every week for 2 months.  Today is Sunday and sales people should not be calling on a Sunday--shame on them!!!  It's bad enough when they call during the week!!!  My caller ID says this is a "California Call", so I don't know what company is calling... the caller disconnects after 3 rings, just as I get to the phone to answer the call.  This is very annoying.  How do these businesses get our unlisted phone numbers???

I'm getting multiple calls from this number.  I don't understand why?  I'm on the do not call list.  I think we need to start reporting these people who are soliciting.

This # called me at 12:45am this morning.  They are also using phone # 626-667-7722. I have reported the 626 # to the FCC.  I have received a total of 15 or more calls from these 2# in less then 2 months. They need us to have them investagated by the TV stations. Maybe they would make a big story out of it and blow them out of the water, so to speak.

Did not leave message. Caller hung up when my outgoing message started. If a caller can not be bothered with leaving a message then it is probably someone I don't need to speak with.

I would not talk to her in English and she called me all kinda names..I still would not say anything to her in English so she told meto FK off..and she hung up the phone..try it..it works great..hahahahahaha

Got a call from this # today. Call went to the answering machine and it recorded someone saying m first over and over and over again..  where the hell did  they get my # ? I have an answer. I am  remodeling bathrooms and went to a discount home improvement store to get some cabinets about 2 weeks ago. Whoever it is is actively monitoring whatever list I was put on.. on another subject,a woman I live with is missing 2 diamond necklaces that HAD to have been taken in the past 10 days because she wore 1 recently.. could they be "casing" homes they know are under construction and stealing from them?

I work nights thisnumber keeps calling saying they was at my house last year. And I had them do some work in my house. I do not live in a house.. I have lived on the streets for three years..they still call on a cell phone to say they'll do windows..told them my car needed one..do they work for free..I have no money..have them the Anaheim police address to come paint my house...see how they like that..

the caller didn't talk right away....I should have hung up but I could hear other people talking, like in a phone center. When they finally did talk, it was a man that said his name was John Clay. He was creepy. I said I didn't know who he was. He said that he was "in the neighborhood" last year replacing a neighbors roof. Such BS! I never talked to anyone that comes to the door. Plus...the roof on the house is new, so why would I talk to anyone about replacing it? Then he said "No no...that's not what I said". What the heck? So creepy!!! I told him that I had the phone number and was going to report the solicitation call, and hung up. I know they will call again. WHY IS THIS ALLOWED TO GO ON?
